Only because I had to select a star to start the review is why I gave them one star. I bought a new 2024 Tundra TRD Off Road from Viva Toyota. I paid full price and drove away, Toyota always promises a full tank at purchase. I drove it away to lock it into my garage, That was December 5, 2023. I had drove it a few places over the next month. I ran up a total of 312 miles on the truck (8 of those miles were on it prior to my purchase). On Monday January 8, I went out to the truck to move it out of the locked garage, It would not start and I thought it was as simple as getting it back to the dealer as it was surely something electronic that quit working. I called the dealer and they sent a tow truck to pick it up and bring it to the dealer.Later that day, the dealer called and said there was contamination in the fuel and it wasn't covered by warranty. Cost to repair was about $15,000.00. Contact my insurance company. I waited until January 10 to talk to the ** and the service supervisor. They again claimed contamination and I needed to contact my insurance company. I filed a vandalism report and contacted the insurance company. They sent out an individual test agent. They found no contamination in the fuel tank. Later the factory sent out a tech that concurred he found contamination in the injector rail. The insurance company will not pay for the repairs (they claim no contamination). The dealer and Toyota will not cover the repairs (not under warranty) and I ham having to pay for the repairs myself. I authorized the repairs but the dealer found other failures which they claim are not part of the warranty. No business should treat customers like this. Viva Toyota does and keeps the money this community gives it for their services. Beware of Viva Toyota. Find a more reputable dealer.
