    On Nov. 27, 2023, my family stopped at this restaurant and purchased a hamburger, one large iced tea with peach flavor, one large sugar free cherry limeade, and two small lemonade slushes. This occurred in the late afternoon. We purchased this order in the drive thru. The attendant told me the total was $12 and some change ($0.56). This number appeared in the swipe located below the window. I waited for the attendant to open the window, at which time she asked me if I would be paying by card and if I hade swiped my card, I told her I hadn’t. I confirmed the number agreed with what I was told ($12 and some change) and went to swipe my card. As I did so, I noticed a $30 value show up on the screen. I assumed this to be the vehicle behind me. We received our order and left for Albuquerque. We emptied our car of trash from our 4 day road trip, which included the receipt. When I checked my credit card statement, I noticed that I had been charged $30.03. I immediately called the restaurant and notified them. I gave them the transaction number from my credit card. I was told they would call me the next day and make corrections and that a credit would appear on my account in 72hrs. I never received that phone call. I followed up by contacting the corporate office on 11/30. I have not received contact back other than a confirmation of my complaint. I am owed approximately $17 in overcharges from this establishment. I would like them to resolve it posthaste.

    I contacted our main office in order to help me resolve this situation for the customer. We were able to process the refund for the customer and he was informed that it would take 7-10 working business days before he should see the refund in his account. I believe he was also told that if there was any issues in not receiving the refund in the time frame he was given to contact us

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me if the credit is applied to my account within the 10 days.  Currently, at day 6 (business days), I have not received the credit to my account.  I will contact the business in the event I have not received the credit to my account.  If unable to resolve this issue, I will reopen my complaint with BBB.  Finally, though the business has been extremely responsive after my complaint to BBB and the reps have been very kind, imust express my disappointment in my ability to resolve this issue through standard paths.
