January 2023, I paid 1100.00 to repair damage to my vehicle. Repair on drivers side above wheel.Picked up car ( it was raining) and owner ***** ***** said to bring it back in 30 days. When I was able really see repair the covering did not match, fit properly. Owner agreed to repair. Left my car. Came back next day and work was not done. He said oh I had to go to Las Cruces. Asked when we can reschedule for repair he said 3-7.23 Left car went to pick up and I could not find my vehicle , he had parked it at the rear of property and did not leave my keys. After several attempts to contact owner ( this at 4:00 and he said he would be there) He would not respond to text or calls. I called the police and filed a report. Left property and 10 minutes later owner called me ranting at me saying I called him names ( which is untrue)and that I was not to go on his property. During his rant I repeatedly requested for my keys. He said they were where they always are( which is on the floor of vehicle, but was not as previously stated) I returned to his shop to get my vehicle and ***** (owner) locked my car with the keys in them. When I asked why he would do such a thing he shrugged and said I don’t know anything about that. I left. I only want this man to refund some of the money so I can have the body work repaired properly. And let others know how unprofessional and menacing this person is. Also I put all receipts/ documents pertaining to my car and his receipt is missing.

Hello, thank you for contacting X Caliber Collison. As per the job in question it was based on an estimate shown to me by *** ********** (****** **** ****) *** ********** asked if I could do this job and I did accept the job without any time constraints. After ordering parts it was determined that one part (wheel flare) was on back order from dealer with no date of delivery in the near future. I did find an after market (wheel flare) on the internet and asked *** ********** if she was fine with aftermarket parts and she said yes as long as I don't re use the old one. Once the new wheel flare was installed it never fit correctly. This was due to it being aftermarket also the fender is after market that is what was allowed on the initial estimate for the other body shop aftermarket parts do not have oem fitment guarantee with any body shop. X Caliber is not responsible for the fitment of the aftermarket wheel flare being that *** ********** agreed to the aftermarket fender fare. Unfortunately too much time has passed as well as its pained to be able to get a refund from the company ordered from. As far as me not being available on the day of pick up, as per a telephone conversation with  *** ********** she was supposed to pick it up at 5:30 pm that day after she got out of work but showed up 2 hours early and I had a Dr. Appointment the same day I was counting on *** ********** arriving after hours also so I can go over any issues she may have with repairs. ( I can provide a Dr. visit slip or anyone is more than welcome to call to verify date and time. As far as locking the vehicle I did lock the keys in the vehicle for two reasons, one being that *** ********** stated she was taking her extra key and second being to secure the vehicle, we have had security issues with the area. I did show a bit of frustration with *** ********** verbally but only in tone not in any other way, she came yelling and swearing asking "where is this *******" I do have this on camera and have witnesses as well. *** ********** accused me of intentionally locking her keys in her car she walked away mad and told me ok "game on, let's see who can be the bigger female" also on camera. One thing I do not want is for this to turn in to an issue where slandering mine or my businesses name is an issue. Here is what I can offer a refund of 50% on the wheel flare price which would be $116.63. Thank you.
