In March 2024 one of my friends was contacted by ******* about a past due amount on her account. She stated to them, she sold the tank, which she thought was hers to another person. ******* told her the tank was on rental - and she needed to get it back.I planned on getting a tank from ******* at some point, so I paid the gentleman $400 to get the tank back from him. I contacted ******* to have them come connect the tank. They expressed their displeasure of my friend's transactions. I still set up a meeting for them to connect the tank for me.********* salesman arrived to inspect the tank, which was dinged up a little and no longer had stickers on it. The salesman got very mad at the situation - and was very rude to me. He gave me two options, connect the tank for my own account, or they could take the tank with them, and reimburse me $400, as the tank was full of fuel. I agreed to this transaction - it was verbal - and I trusted the guy at his word. I contacted ******* in April - asking where my refund was. They said they would not be processing until the end of the month. I contacted them again 5/15, they said checks would be ran soon. I finally received a check dated 5/22 for $188.68 while I was out of state.When I returned to ********** I contacted ***, the manager, and discussed the different amount that I was promised as well as the history of this transaction. She said there were restock fees as well as the tank was not full, (however it was full when they took the tank.) I informed her of what I was promised, she asked if it was in writing, I said no - because I took your salesman's word that he would make sure I get the correct refund. She planned on talking to salesman and returning my call - I'm still waiting for that return call and have decided to not use ******* in the future.
