            I was quoted for a dental implant at $2,145.00. My insurance shows I should have paid $1,659.00. To date I have paid $2,819.70. The dental group acknowledges they owe me a refund but they will not speak to me. On 4/23, an office manager was supposed to call me at 4pm. No one called and no one responded to an email. On Friday 4/26, I called their office, was placed on hold for 10 minutes, and then they hung up without answering. On 4/30 I called their office again. They told me the office manager just left for lunch and would call me when she returned. I did not receive a phone call. On 5/2, I called and was told the office manager was not available and she would call me tomorrow. Instead of giving me the owed refund, they continue to avoid my phone calls. When I ask to speak to someone else, they refuse. It is clear the refund is owed, why they won't pay it is unclear.

              I’m sorry for the billing issue that you had in our office. Your insurance, MetLife has contracted prices that procedures are to cost for their in network providers. It is a contract that our office has singed with MetLife. Any in network office should have about the same fee as this is dictated by MetLife and determined by zip code. Your insurance price will be better than out office’s implant special.  

            The problem with you account started when we verified your insurance and benefits with MetLife on 1/20/23. I have included the fax that we received from MetLife that shows your plans coverage. Page 2 of the fax shows that you have $1500 in benefits and that you has used $785 in benefits in Canyon City.
