Nov. 25 2024 I come down here everyday. The sometimes asked for my idea sometimes they don't. Sometimes they bag the liquor. B4 I leave and sometimes they just let me leave. And there is a minor who worked there that has sold me liquor. It's a family own and it needs to stop

    Business response

The ownership was completely unaware of any alcohol being sold by minors.  We do not sell liquor, only beer.  We strive to follow all rules and regulations of the state.  We would like to thank this customer for bringing this to our attention to make sure this isn't happening.

I am writing to express concern about an incident of discrimination and harassment involving your cashier, ****. This pattern of behavior violates the rights of individuals with disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act ***** and Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS).Despite informing **** multiple times that my dog is a service animal trained to assist me with PTSD and partial blindness, she has persistently accused me of bringing a pet into the store.Today, as I approached the register, **** and another employee backed away. My service animal placed a paw on the counter to alert me to potential dangers. This triggered another round of harassment from ****, who insisted my service animal was a pet and not permitted in the store under a no-pets policy.**** continued to allege that my service animal was fake, comparing its behavior unfavorably to her own alleged service animal. Her comments were hurtful and showed a lack of understanding of the role of service animals.Maris actions were discriminatory and a violation of the **** which mandates that individuals with disabilities can be accompanied by their service animals in all areas of public accommodation. *** guidelines state businesses must allow service animals where the public is normally allowed. NRS 426 provides similar protections. At no point was my service animal out of my control or behaving inappropriately. The emotional distress caused by this incident was significant. The harassment and public shaming left me shaken. Such treatment is unacceptable and damaging, especially given the courage it takes for me to leave the house. Before leaving, I reported the incident to the ******************* to ensure a public record. I hope appropriate action will be taken to address this matter, ensuring that **** no longer subjects customers with service animals to such treatment. Please take this complaint seriously and implement training and corrective measures to prevent further incidents.
