    Our heat failed on a Saturday and we called Ambient Air. They disclosed that the visit would cost $139.00. My compliant is that the technician did not disclose the full amount we needed to pay before replacing the capacitor. We ended up paying $ 653.00 to change a $50-$100.00 capacitor.

    I wish I could leave zero stars for this wreck of a company. My daughter purchased a completely new HVAC system for me in December 2021. The company came out three times to fix various problems in 2022. Now, 18 months later, on a $10,000 air conditioning unit, the compressor has failed and needs to be replaced. The company my daughter purchased it from was sold to Ambient Edge. They flat-out refused to honor any deals with had with the previous company. A compressor, by the way, that should have lasted at least 15 years. Yes, we have a warranty on the compressor. But Ambient Edge REFUSED to replace it without us shelling out $2300 on labor (only). Would not budge on that and even suggested that my daughter reach out to the previous owner's grieving family (he died) to ask them to pay for it. To put a nail in the coffin, the customer service manager REFUSED to provide my daughter with a copy of my receipt where she claims it says I only have a 1-year labor warranty. Sounds pretty fishy right? She also claimed they are not responsible for the work of the company they assumed which sounds rife with illegalities. I spoke to the State Contractors board who urged me to start an investigation as there is 4 years of implied warranty for this type of work. I will be going forward with that as well. All of the employees they picked up from ****** *** said they are getting nothing but complaint calls about this company. One of them called the owners "shady." Do NOT use this scamming company. Read the other reviews. They are scammers who DO NOT CARE about their customers and will rip you off to save their bottom line.

    To clarify, when Ambient Edge purchased certain assets from the previous company, it was a transaction limited to assets only like trucks and equipment. This acquisition did not include taking over the previous company’s operations or assuming responsibility for their contractual obligations or past work. This distinction, while a common practice in asset purchases, unfortunately, means we are not liable for the work or agreements made by the previous company.

    We recognize how challenging this is, especially when facing unexpected repairs and service issues. Your decision to contact the Nevada State Contractors Board is a step in the right direction, as they can offer guidance on warranty matters and standards for work quality.

    Hearing about your dissatisfaction and the level of service you’ve encountered is disheartening. Our goal is never to leave our customers feeling unsupported, even though our capacity to intervene in matters related to the previous company’s engagements is limited.

    We regret the frustration and inconvenience this situation has caused. While our role in this matter is constrained by the specifics of our asset purchase, we are committed to maintaining high standards of service and customer care within the scope of our operations.

    I was a customer of Mojave and never had a problem. We called on Friday June 30th because our system wasn't working properly. We told them it wasn't an emergency and we could wait until Monday. We were scheduled for Monday afternoon. I took the day off work because they were coming. In the morning they called me from a 928 number. I didn't answer because I didn't know the number. They left a message saying they were rescheduled my appointment. Never talked to me or my husband. Then they rescheduled it for Thursday. I find that very unprofessional. We called Bobs and they cam out on the 4th of July with no extra charges. Turns out we need a new coil. We are also replacing our furnace. Looks like you lost 10k and all the business I send to you from house flippers smh
