  I found a new massage therapist, going solo under the name Mellow Massage. Her name was *************************. I bought a Groupon and tried a one-hour massage. She did a good job and offered me a package deal of three additional massages for $180, which I purchased. Sometime after my first session with Mellow Massage, ****** decided to merge with another solo massage therapist in the same building: *************************, who operates under name King *********************** When I found this out, I tried to schedule a massage with ******, but I was told that she was no longer with King *********************** ****** offered to perform the massages for me, but I declined, since I prefer a female therapist. ****** stated that he was in the process of hiring a female therapist to work for him, and he did so. When ****** hired *******, I scheduled a one-hour session with her. Upon completion, I tipped her, and the session itself was deducted from my balance, leaving me with 2 one-hour sessions remaining. Shortly after that, ******* either left or was let go. ****** said he would find another female therapist, and I told him that if he gave me his word, then I would wait We shook hands, and I departed in good faith. Since then ****** has avoided me, not returning phone messages, emails, or texts, and not making himself available in person. I got tired of waiting and asked for a refund of the $120 balance, but he is incommunicative. I spoke with a woman who works at the building where these small, solo operators work, and I asked her to speak with ****** on my behalf, in order to avoid having a complaint filed against him with the BBB. I still did not hear from him. It has been nearly a year, and I have decided to file the complaint. I have emails, texts, and a voice mail left by Torrey--available upon request.
