A representative from this organization (**************** Love) received funds from affirm for this organization for services not rendered. **************** assured me that after the initial interview and questionnaire, I was eligible to start a process for benefits as a veteran. He told me that there was a fee, that I could pay through affirm $3,500. I was willing to. After 2weeks of no communication from ******, I spoke to him, on the phone, he assured me that he would follow through with the application. A week later I spoke with ***********************, she asked for my address, because she was going to get my information and follow through with what ****** didnt do she never showed up. The affirm company want payment as they should, but I believe RCL Veteran should repay affirm, because I have not the services promised.

    Complaint: 21655052

I am rejecting this response because:
They have committed deceit and theft. They are suppose to serve Veterans, not take advantage. I need to know my next legal step in this matter. **************** Love and *************************** didnt live up to what they were suppose to.

July last year I went to RLC for assistance with getting my va benefits. I was helped by a guy named ****. He charged me $997. I did what was asked to attend certain appts. I was told to wait from that point. A few months pass and I call with no answer. I send emails asking for an update. A different gentleman asks me if I have gone to my appts, that was completed months ago. They had no file for me and I was told to resend them everything so they can start working on it. Again a few months pass, I call the guy who helped me originally and he told me he quit because he didn't like what the company was doing to veterans. So I go back again to get an explanation and another lady asks me if I had gone to my appts. No one is keeping track of anything. I go in again and she redoes my file. I cant get anyone on the phone and no one responds to emails. bottom line. I was asked if I had done the same thing 5 times. so obviously nothing is being done on their end. I want my money back since nothing was ever accomplished. I don't see how this company can stay in business and do this to veterans. I asked for a refund and the reply was that they dont do that. so what do i do now. court?

I interviewed with the company after meeting with **** at a veterans fair at my mobile home park, my interview was at their office on ***************, it lasted 2 hours, he made a lot of claims, to help me with the VA , I gave him 250$ off my credit card, for the first payment of 4 payments, after that he would never return my calls, it's been a month and a half, and nothing, I recommend them to a friend, and the same thing happened, I believe I should get my money back, I did report them to the VA, and the federal trade commission, and I will continue until I get back my refund

I have had two long text conversations with ************ and have addressed his concerns.   He met with *********************** a former member of my firm who had planned to start his own firm, which he did on January 1.   **** charged him $250 from a remote terminal, which did not enter **************** personal information or contact information, a flaw in the credit card system, which did not list him on our system as a client.   **** introduced ******* and ***, his two associates to *************   *********** had no idea of my existence or how to contact me, since **** did not reveal that information to him.   ************ referred another client, ***************************, who gave ******************  **** did not remit these funds to me or notify me of **************** as being a client.  To date, **************** referral, **************** has not contacted me.    I suspect that **** may have wished to, feather his nest, during his last week's working for my firm to use the time to pick up some clients to profit from at his firm that would open in January 2023.   Sadly, the strategy backfired, since **** did not return **************** phone calls, his wife ********/******* did not either, and there was an altercation between ************ and ****'s mom, ***, where ************ revealed that he called her a *****.

The cost of our services is $997, we self-finance clients with financial issues using two payment plans.  ************ was to pay my firm $250 mo in 4 installments.  **************** total payments to us were the initial $250 with no further installments.  Since we were not paid, we have no obligation to him to complete the work until payment was received in full.   We only received a quarter of what we should have been paid.   ************ revealed in his text that he was so upset with **** not returning his phone calls that he intentionally. left a zero balance on his credit card so it would not make future payments.   Since we only had a credit card number from ************, not his identification, and no payment arrangements were entered into our system by **** or his associates, we had no way of knowing he was late on his payments.

Obviously, ************ has no idea about any of this, since **** may have represented to him that he was President of the company and never made mention of my name and my role in the Company.   ************ may only know us from our remote ************************** Location and have no idea that our main office is on *************** in *********.

************ also revealed that he had started his own VA Claim in February, 2022, which is about to expire.     He has also sought assistance from a VA Appeals lawfirm and contracted them to perform Veteran's Assistance Services for his case.

I am happy to refund ************ his $250 payment and declare this contract as null and void from the start.
