I bought a gift card for a friends birthday last September and she had issues logging in to her account after she took the art quiz. No one has responded to her or my inquiries about resolving the login issue. So the money I gave them on her behalf is gone without any services or goods rendered.

I was gifted a $50 gift card on 9/21/2022, and received an email from an Art Crate "curator" wishing me a happy birthday and that I should email back with the items I wanted to purchase, so that they could send me a custom link to redeem the gift card. On 12/28/2022, I emailed back with the items I wanted to purchase, and received no reply. I contacted Art Crate via the chat on their website twice and then emailed again on 1/5/2023. I have never received a reply from Art Crate, and at this point, am not expecting one. There is no other way to contact them, so I think the $50 gift card is lost. I'm just glad that I never gave them my credit card info, based on the other complaints on bbb. I do not trust Art Crate anymore and would like my boyfriend to get a refund on the $50 gift card.

I received an Art Crate gift card for $100. I created a user profile to use the gift card and then signed up for a monthly subscription in the process. I was initially contacted by the comany for me to select my art preferences which they claimed they would share with a "curator" and send me art monthly. I continued to be charged monthly without receiving any art. I emailed them several times requesting a resolution to this issue but never heard back. I have been charged $504 total (including the $100 gift card) and have no art to show for it. Apparently at the beggining of this new year the company started having issues charging my credit card and now I have gotten 5-6 emails within the first two weeks of 2023 stating that there was a "billing failure". In these emails they made a link available to my account and I made sure to cancel my subscription. I would like the company to refund me the $504 dollars they have charged me and to never charge my account again. Thank you!

I was given a gift card code for Christmas for Art Carte. It took several attempts for the code to be sent to me via my sister in law asking the company to send it. I then went through the process of using the code, which you can't use unless you sign up for the monthly subscription, and put in your card information, even though you already have a gift card code. (I feel like I should I realized that this was weird...) It took several weeks for the "curator" to reach out to me so I could choose what piece of art I wanted. By this point another month had gone by, I have not heard from the "curator" again after choosing my piece. I have had no art sent to me, and on top of that, the remaining balance on the gift card was taken out. The gift card was for $50 - I chose the month subscription that cost $25. The second month's charge was taken off the gift card and on top of that, I just saw a charge on my personal debit card for $10. This is clearly a scam, and they have my information and took my money due to a loved one wanting to give me a gift. I have received no artwork and have heard nothing more from the so called "curator." In total, they have taken the $50 from my family member when they purchased the gift card for me, and have now charged my account.
