I placed an order on 11/3/22 for a 1oz Canadian bar, I sent SGB a check for almost 1,800 dollars and after they received the payment I received a tracking number for my package. The original delivery date to be delivered was for 11/23/22.. I Recieved a text on 11/22/22 that a signature was required, which is a day earlier than anticipated. THE PROBLEM is that I was at work on that day and no one was at my house to sign for the package, minutes later I received a alert from FedEx that my package was delivered and get this, it was signed by me even tho I work an hour away from home. I contacted FedEx and explained to them that I wasn’t home and I did not sign for the package, the customer service rep tells me that this happens a lot and not unusual, and to check for the package once I was home. I get home that night and to my surprise NO PACKAGE in sight. I call FedEx back and explain to them that I don’t see a package at my residence, they inform me to call they shipper to have them issue a claim for the item. I contact SGB and explain it all to them and they tell me that the package is insured and that I need not to worry that they’ll handle the situation, I call them literally every day to try to find out what’s going on, and they inform me that they’re working on it, this goes on for about 2 weeks, then I received a email from DOMINIC stated that a declaration needs to be signed and a police report may be needed, so I sent them the document back signed. A couple days later I call back to check on the status of my order and now they want a police report. I filed the police report on Friday 11/2/22 at my residence and was informed that I could pick it up on Monday which is the first I’ll do once I’m off of work today, at this point I’m beyond frustrated bc me and my wife had plans on getting wedding bands made so that we could get married for new years! I hope I can get this issue resolved, I’ve contacted a lawyer if further action is required, have all documents.
