    On 10/17/22 at appx **** hrs I went to the am/pm at ******************* as I do almost every morning to get my two service dogs beef sticks, play the slots, and talk to the clerks on duty. I had in my possession a black speaker box with a music stick that I play while walking my babies or playing slots upon leaving the am/pm I realized I accidentally left my speaker *************** stick. I returned to the am/pm to retrieve my property. The employee on duty (referred to as DA ) informed me the female owner (****) stated the speaker was hers when DA asked about it. DA stated The female owner (****) concealed my speaker in her bag, exchanged words with the male Asian owner in a foreign language, and left the store with MY property in her possession. DA claimed she didnt have the owners number, the manager (******) refused to call or text either of the owners, nor would she give me the number or relay a msg. I called the foreign employee he called the owners FOUR (4) time requesting a callback which never happened. Spoke w/ male owner 10/18/22 appx ************************************************* front of customers, then denied knowing about my property, stated I didnt have proof, insulted me by acting like he didnt understand what I was saying or which employee was on duty when his wife stole my property. The manager (******) also insisted When she finally answered her phone that I was assuming The owner stole it without any proof. I told her the on duty employee was there to witness the theft of my property. I also asked the manager where was the lost & found area of the store and if it was LEGAL to remove a customers property from the business and take it to your personal residence without allowing the customer to return to claim their ********************** in a certain time period? No answer. The male owner told me Tuesday I shouldnt have left my property in His store. His wife owes me $300 as that property was gifted to me by my deceased relatives!!!

    I am in receipt of your letter dated November 21, 2022.

    I think this misunderstanding happened due to wrong reply to the complaining Customer from the Employee on duty she mentioned. The thing my wife took was my coffee container not the speaker the complainer said she had left at the store.  This was confirmed by the employee on duty by showing her the coffee container. I can prove this from the employee on duty and also the text message from the employee. 

    I would also like to state that the complainer came to my store several times after she said she had left her speaker at my store. Whenever she came to my store she complained very loudly in front of many customers and she continuously stole merchandise like lighters, chips and candies from my store which I have video recordings.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    The owner is lying. His employee knew EXACTLY how my speaker looked. The female owner lied and claimed MY property as her property. Neither of the owners or the manager attempted to contact myself or the store after I waited in the store for hours.  The employee and the manager found it amusing. While waiting on a call from the owner, I fed my service animals, who were also known and referred to on numerous occasions as the stores guard dogs with store merchandise.  I didnt steal anything as I didnt attempt to conceal anything. I made it a point to ensure I was visual as I AM NOT a thief. The items consumed were complimentary compensation for their work while waiting hours in the store to be contacted by either owner. My service dogs and I have put ourselves in ***** way on numerous occasions protecting HIS store and employees while he hid behind the counter or in the back office without receiving ANY compensation, all of which is ALSO on his recorded videos.  The incident around the theft of my property as well as the confessions from his employees of all the illegal and unethical practices  and violations they were illegally instructed to practice are also on those same tapes if he hasnt erased or tampered with them.

    Hello,

    I am in receipt of your letter of Nov 30,2022.

    I really do not understand the description from the complainer as they are not make sense at all.  We have no reason to take customers belongings. We always keep any found items to return to the customers who lost them.

    The employee who did mis-look at my coffee maker as the speaker is still working here. She can verify this if needed.  Please have the complainer to talk to my employee to tell the complainer about what she saw at that time.
