I placed a mobile app, carryout order for carside delivery on 3/19/24. I received the message that my order was ready and headed to the store for pickup. Upon arrival I checked in via the app, 32 seconds later I received a message stating that I had received my order which clearly was not the case and the tracker was closed. I was not prepared to exit the vehicle which is why I opted for carside delivery, but was forced to go inside to receive my order that I was deceitfully told via the app that I had already received. I went inside the store only to find out that my order was still being prepared and was never ready as indicated by the tracker. After waiting patiently inside for my order, I was given a 20oz drink for my troubles. However, upon returning home with my order I discovered that my order was completely wrong. I ordered a half pepperoni & half cheese pizza without the garlic crust, I received a whole pepperoni pizza with the garlic crust. Because my child along with myself are both allergic to garlic we were forced to pass the order on to our neighbor. I filed a complaint with Dominos on 3/20/24 expecting the company to make good on their pizza satisfaction guarantee, but unfortunately they never did. In fact, this is the third time that I have been ignored by Dominos when attempting to have them make good on their guarantee. The company seems to be very deceptive in their practices and falsely advertises their guarantee.

    Business response

I am sorry but this is not our location, the company you are reaching out to is located in ********* ** and we do not own any locations in **********

BBB is not working to help consumers reach the correct party i have asked them several times to make sure complaints we receive are for the stores we own but they still do not do that, this not only waists your time but ours and does not get anyone's issues resolved.

Only advice i can give you is to reach back out to corporate with your complaint number and let them know that you still do not have your issue resolved.  They do reach out to the location for you and let the franchisee know of the issue.   As well they do get charged a fee for each of these complaints

I am sorry i can not be of more help than that but maybe complaining to BBB about their system as well might help consumers get to the right people when they go to the BBB

Some consumers may elect to not publish the details of their complaints, some complaints may not meet BBB's standards for publication, or BBB may display a portion of complaints when a high volume is received for a particular business.
