I purchased an RC plane, the Apprentice STOL in February of this year. Less than 2 months ago. The charger that came with the plane melted and shortly thereafter the plane stopped working due to an electrical issue that was no fault of mine. When I brought it in they said I was beyond the 30 Day return **** and they were unable to help me. They told me I could remove a part and send it into the company, but were unable to remove the part without charging me $60 per hour. They were also unable to swap out the plane to a working model. They dont back their products and were only helpful when attempting to sell me something. Not only do they slightly upcharge their products they dont offer support when something goes wrong. All I want is for them to swap out this one for a working model that doesnt have a melting charger and electrical issues.

I dropped a drone off in February and waited to receive a call. In March my phone was disconnected and I called them and left a message with my new number. They stated they would call me back. I called them numerous times and left my number expecting a callback, but I never spoke with anyone about my drone. I asked my girlfriend to call on 4/9/2024 and she left a message with her number requesting to speak to the owner, *****. ***** called her back and informed us that the drone had been repaired and there was an almost $400 charge on the account. I asked what there was a charge for because it was supposed to have been under warranty. They said warranty wouldn't cover it and that was the bill. I argued that I never authorized any repairs and that I wanted my property back. He said fine and the call was ended. My girlfriend went in on 4/10/2024 and spoke with ******* who said that I owed $200 for parts and that if it wasn't paid in a week he was personally keeping my property.

We have offered him a discount on the repair of his drone, he has left the drone with us for over 30 days, our terms and conditions which he has signed on the work order states repairs left over 30 days become property of Friendly Hobbies and are sold for repair costs. His repair bill is $300 and we offered to give it to him for $200 as a gesture of customer service. He has been extremely abusive to me and my brother with foul language and threats of violence I also have video of ***** threatening my brother that he is going to burn our building down with all of the employees in it, please let me know if you have any other questions.

On July 28 I went to the store I mentioned above. I went to buy a drone with extra batteries because I urgently needed it. *********************** helped me and said that he will request it from the online store " DJI " when I finished making the payments with 3 different cards plus some cash, he told me that it will take from 2 to 3 weeks to get here, to which I did not agree because I urgently needed it. At that moment, I mentioned to him that I could not wait until that time. He said to give it a chance that he was going to call so he could get it the next day . He did not want to cancel the order, that same night I called DJI via chat and they told me that the same product was not in stock and that I needed to preorder the product. That same night as well I found out *********************** Charged me $4661.19 more than what he had said. I went back the next day to the store very upset asking for my money back to which he refused. Two days later, I called him to see what was going on with my money and he said he will give it, but that he will only give me back 70% of my money and that he will keep 30% of my money and that it was his last offer. On 07/18/2022 I purchased a **************** Freestyle FPV Drone RTF Kit with Goggles and controller for $354.34. I was told that it came with warranty. I finally used the drone on 07/20/22 and realized the camera and/or goggles were not working. They would not connect. I went back to the store, explained the issue and they immediately said that I must of damaged the drone and that it was not covered under warranty, I don't understand how they could so quickly find the problem just by looking at the drone for a minute without opening it up and then after "diagnosing" proceeds to tell me that they are not technicians. Their website ( I read it after purchase) states " However, we are not technicians and you are much better served by calling the experts of the brand you have purchased to get individualized technical support. Their only solution to the problem was to have me spend more money, they said I could purchase an additional drone an use it for parts. I came home and upon me calling the manufacturer I realized that the goggles and controller in the kit belonged to a different manufacturer`- ********, because of this, any warranty that I might of had was voided. Their actions are preventing me from obtaining any resolution, So as of now I have a drone kit I cant use, Friendly Hobbies will not help and I'm out a few hundred dollars. I was made to feel that they couldn't care less about my issue once they had my money. Attachments 1-2 is what I got. Attachment 3 is what I should of gotten,
