It is just my husband and I and he works out of state from Monday through Friday, no pool. My payments are timely. Our water charges jumped from $66 in May, then to $122 in June, to $144 in July, and climbed up to $596 in August. I had called the LVVWD and they insisted that it ‘has to be a leak and I have no grounds to dispute the excessive charge as their meter reading is accurate my dispute will be accepted. I called a plumber to inspect the whole house and no leak was detected by the plumber. Even if there was a leak a giant puddle would be visible somewhere as the gallons their water meter read is 57 vs 12. BTW in June LVVWD replaced the cap on their meter. I asked if they would please have someone review the usage being transmitted to them but they said no because “they troubleshoot with me and reader is working properly.” The CS rep told me that the manager will not accept my request to review. I am being overcharged and want to be credited. My water usage is not anywhere near what they are charging me for.

My bills has been high for the last year and i have called on multiple occasion and have been told by each representative the rates were raised.I have even received multiple letter from the water district stated they were going to FINE my Property for over water usages. They are stating i have been using 10 gallons of water month. I live in a 1300sq home only 2 adult that go to work every day.I called a plumber out and they told I need to call the city because its a broken valve on the cities end.The city has filed to tell me there was a leak on their end.The city choose to continue to charge me these outrageous water prices. So if your bill is high its not the rates its may be a leak they city Neglecting to tell you there is a leak so they can continue to take all of your hard earned money. They are wasting water and trying to fine the property.

We stopped getting paper bills and we did not request email billing. THERE IS NO DIRECT CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON TO talk to to resolve this issue. We drove down to the main office and even then waiting 30 minutes to try to talk to someone. The security guard said you will NEVER BE ABLE TO TALK TO ANY LIVE PERSON In Person - So we finally got a person to resolve this.

I tried to start service online, it said I needed to contact customer service. I called and waited 2 1/2 hours on hold and still cant get customer service. I tried the chat (spend 45 minutes looking at the little chat window waiting for my turn in the queue) and the agent couldn't help me over chat. I asked the agent why and she said that's just the process. I asked if I could go to the office and the agent said its closed due to COVID (note today is 8/16/2023).

I recently moved to my address in October. I started service at my address. The water district told me I needed to pay$250 for the deposit. Paid it come on November. I get a bill of $695.00. I called and said what’s going on and can I do payment arrangements. They said no because I have to pay the deposit in full. I paid $250 already they didn’t not include it. I don’t understand how they do this to people paying paycheck by paycheck.

My family and I had an outstanding balance with the water company of $600. We have not made a payment since June of 2021 due to Covid and a terrible car accident we fell behind. We made payment arrangements in February of 2022 and received several bills. The last bill we received on April 18, 2022 said we had to pay $333 on May 16, 2022 or our services will be interrupted. It is May 12, 2022 and all of a sudden the water was shut off. Spoke with several agents and the first one Alicia was very rude and was solely focused on the fact we had not made a payment since June of 2021 and could not help me restore my service so I asked to be transferred. The second agent Christine tried to help and said she could restore service with a payment of $390 and a promised to pay for the remaining balance. I was livid. My wife and I would not get paid until the next day and could not afford that now, so I asked to speak with a senior specialist and she had to have one call me back. Within an hour Adriana ***** a senior agent called and told me LVWD has the right to shut off anyone's water for nonpayment. I told her I understood that but my most recent bill said I had until May 16th 2022 to make a payment. She informed me it did not matter because the last bill said the same thing. This is where I feel LVWD needs to change their policies. For one, I think they should send people disconnect notices and final payment reminders before they shut someone's water off. It would be nice if they gave a final date before they shut the service off, like the energy company. More importantly, don't send people bills stating their services will not be interrupted if they make a payment by a certain date, in my case May 16th 2022, and shut it off before then. It just seems unfair because if we were aware our water was going to be shut off we would have made different arrangements instead of thinking we had until the May 16th, 2022.
