Horrible customer service. I've only dealt with them for about two months, but I'm experiencing the same poor communication problems and empty promises as other reviewers. One response to an email after a two-week attempt to make contact. The guy said he would get back to me the next day with a quote for a part and...crickets for two weeks. They don't answer the phone, and they don't respond to emails. It's unfortunate because I hear Lasher was a reputable company that cared about its customers when the original owner was alive. Now, they don't stand behind their products. They just make them and sell them. In addition to terrible customer service, the handcycle itself is useless on offroad inclines. Maybe it would climb solid rock, but loose or even loose-ish rock and soil results in front-wheel slippage. The guy I spoke with the one time they did contact me said, "That's why people get the pedal assist." Sorry, but you should be able to make it up, say, a 30-degree slope. I can do it on my ReActive Adaptations Bomber. For offroad handcycles, the ReActive Adaptations rigs are far superior in mobility. There's no way the Lasher would make it on half the trails the Bomber conquers. And, ReActive Adaptation has far superior customer service.Review from nicholas s

I was verry exited to order a custom wheelchair from this company I have been saving for years to finally get a $10,000 fitted chair. I went down there and got fitted told them exactly what I wanted they did a great job and told me it would be 3 months to build. it all went downhill from there it took 6 months with no updates I would call over and over and almost never get a call back. when they did ship the new chair, they sent it to the wrong address no big deal I got it the next day thanks to UPS. when I got the chair, it was wrong the dimensions where off and completely unusable. I called and talked to them .and in the conversation they said that they were unhappy how the chair came out and that they would fix it. I was told to send pictures, so I did with comparisons to my old chair and what I found was wrong then they never got back to me. it's been over 6 months I have called and emailed, and they just don't respond now i have a $10,000 wheelchair i can't use and it is hart braking.
