  (The following narrative is to the best of memory. Respondent has all relevant details on file.) Northwest Reno Smiles Dental Group ("NRSDG" hereafter), over a six-month (or longer) period in 2022, consistently provided unsatisfactory prosthodontic goods and services, inaccurately represented the capabilities of their lab and reneged on a settlement. This was to have been my third set of dentures, so I have experience to inform reasonable expectations. Having failed to repair my second and current set of dentures, NRSDG assured me that they could provide a new set accommodating my peculiar needs but I was repeatedly presented with dentures that could not physically be placed in my mouth with any expectation of proper function. In 2005 my mandible was fitted with a "Dolder bar", an appliance to which lower dentures are clipped for enhanced stability. Despite NRSDG's assurance otherwise, their lab twice proved incapable of producing new lowers which would mate to the bar. On my fourth or fifth frustrating visit, I was presented with yet another wax model of uppers. These literally would not stay in my mouth if I tried to speak. I could close my mouth around them only with great difficulty and severe chafing (to say nothing of forming an acceptable bite with any lowers). I was assured that all would be resolved in another three or four visits -- when THREE visits was the most either of my previous sets had required of any prosthodontist. I then and there canceled the entire order and was then and there offered a full refund of the $1,200 balance. Soon thereafter, I was informed that the offer of a full refund had been withdrawn. They offered instead a rebate on half the balance, which I accepted. I finished paying off the $600 balance just in the past month. NRSDG did however at length succeed in repairing my second uppers but no mention of this was made by them in the settlement. I am seeking a refund of the $600 paid.

  This business advertise a $59 cleaning exam and digital x-rays. I received my exam and dental x-rays but when it came to my cleaning they would not touch my teeth due to some issues in the very back of my mouth. They refused to honor the $59 cleaning as advertised and instead wanted me to spend $1000-$1600 before I could get any cleaning done on my teeth. When I said I didn’t want to spend that amount of money they were ready to let me walk with no cleaning whatsoever. I feel like this was a bait and switch
