We had the good fortune of having friends that received their poodle from RedTeddy. We fell in love with their dog. When our dog passed away, our friends put us in touch with RedTeddy and now we have an adorable mini-poodle of our own. Their operation is very professional and humane. Our puppy and his siblings stayed with their mother after they were born for several weeks and then took residence together at RedTeddy, Mary worked with us throughout the process of paperwork and arranging a pickup at her residence. She handled all the necessary paperwork and health requirements. So many thoughtful touches - our puppy was sent home with the blanket he had while in Mary's care along with two puppy toys, Three years later, he still has the blanket and sleeps with it every night. He is the happiest, most congenial dog we've ever had, and this is undoubtably due to the environment of RedTeddy.Review from Anne M

We recently lost our beautiful poodle, *****. We were heart broken and the loss was immense. Fortunately, someone told us about Red Teddy poodles so we checked into them and was impressed by what we read. Long story short, we spoke with Mary W. and we were convinced this was the right place. She was so knowledgeable about poodles and immediately filled us with hope that we were going to get a wonderful puppy. We did. She's beautiful and was well cared for. The puppy's information was excellent, and shots up to date. We brought our beautiful puppy home and she is the highlight of our home. So happy we came across Red Teddy and Mary W. and we can't thank them enough. Looking forward to a long life with our little ****** ***. Truly recommend this breeder. We are 100% satisfied—actually delighted—by our experience with Red Teddy Poodles. Mary Watkins communicated with us about the process of bringing home our puppy. We were able to visit in advance. Puppies are raised in a home with their parents, not in a big kennel. Red Teddy poodle puppies are well socialized with people and other dogs. We also opted for 2 weeks of board and train with Michael L****, who works with Mary on puppy training—this was a great decision because our puppy came to us with good sleeping habits, excellent manners around food, and had a good start on house-training and leash walking. Overall, a great experience! People stop us on the street and ask where we got our puppy, and I am happy to send them to Red Teddy Poodles.Review from Deborah S

We got our beautiful little boy from Mary six weeks ago and he has stolen our hearts! I searched long and hard for a professional, invested and loving mini poodle breeder before I found Mary. From hand feeding the new moms to methodically socialing the puppies, Mary gives her all to deliver happy, healthy and adorable puppies! They are fed a homemade organic diet and definitely eat better than we do! At his most recent vet visit, the vet commented on our little guys great conforming structure and noted his strong bones, great hip and knee structure and playful personality. Mary is a very kind honest and ethical person and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a toy or mini poodle puppy!Redteddy Poodles Response

Hi ***, Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments. Also, the comments from your vet mean so much to me! Its wonderful when our dogs and puppies impress the local vet, someone who has no idea who we are and what we do at Redteddy. We do not breed specifically for conformation - we breed for personality, though we would never breed a Poodle who did not seem to be very physically fit. We just will not breed a beautiful Poodle who has a personality problem. Anyway, it seems to me that our diet and exercise program for the parent dogs that we have bred here, not brought in from other breeders, the new generation,, is showing the beneifits of our healthy diet and life style. We picked up our Red Teddy miniature pup yesterday, and he is perfect! It is clear that Mary invests in the physical, mental and social well being of her dogs. Whenever we had a question, she graciously, thoroughly answered us. What's more, we were able to visit the litter and parents before pick up day! Today was his first full day in Massachusetts, and he attended a family event with people ranging from children to seniors. There was also an elderly miniature poodle in attendance. Our little guy was terrific with everyone, human and canine! I enthusiastically recommend Mary as a breeder, and I suspect we will be getting another pup from her in future years.Redteddy Poodles Response

I did my original review on 3/29/21 when I first brought my Red Teddy poodle home. What’s so wonderful about Mary is that I am still in touch with her. I regularly send her pictures of **** and she responds. I have been able to ask her questions and share in my delight with my Red Teddy. It’s more than a business for Mary. All her dogs live in her home and it’s clear she loves them while they are with her and after they go home. You won’t find a nicer or more knowledgeable breeder than Mary.Review from Maria F

We recently brought our puppy home from Mary at Redteddy Poodles and couldn't be happier. He’s such a good pup! He slept the whole time on the way back home, and as soon as he arrived, he went potty and then got into his crate - no fear! He even took a nap in it an hour later. I love that he sleeps through the night (I wake him up once to go potty outside and he goes right back to sleep). I thought he would be crying, especially the first night, but nope, he’s a trooper! He's cuddly, sweet and playful, and loves meeting people and explore new things. You can tell he was properly socialized because he's not afraid of noises or people around him. He loves to eat, and I’ve been hand-feeding him and teaching him to sit and wait for each bite patiently, which he does! It’s such a pleasure to watch him do this. The whole process was great and we strongly recommend Mary as a breeder. We can't thank her enough for giving us such a joy of a pup!Review from Susan R

I have a beautiful Poodle puppy thanks to Mary at Red Teddy. He has a sweet disposition and is very, very healthy. As a bonus, Red Teddy, began to train him before pickup which made his adjustment to being held and trained much easier which for a Poodle is a big plus. Their customer service was excellent and I could tell that they really care about the puppies. I can’t say enough - most excellent experience in all aspects. I will and have recommended Red Teddy without any hesitation. Excellent!
