My Nephew signed up for MaryBeth's 5hr course and when they had there lunch break she ended the **** meeting, did not direct them that they would have to use the link again to sign back into the meeting. He does need help with technology as I was helping him with signing back in, as he does have a learning disability and needs help with that stuff. it was 5 minutes to 12, I told him to text her and tell him he was on his way, it was 12:01pm when he arrived in the waiting room for the the remaining part of the class and she left him in the waiting room for 45 minutes. Still didn't allow him to finish his 5hr course. We understand that she is teaching a class but she could have left the **** meeting open during lunch and just had them turn the camera off and mute, or she could have told them to use the link to get back in. We live in a rural area and it sometimes takes a second to reconnect, she could have a least respond to his text message when he was trying to communicate to with her completely ignored him. He did pay a fee of $50 for this class, and to have half completed it is completely unfair and for him to be ignored is uncalled for, her customer service skills and people skills are RUDE. HE should be allowed to able to pick up where he left off because he was trying to let her know he was coming she could have let him in, when he was using a device that was not his to do his 5hr so that he could be on a bigger screen to pay attention. He was following the Rules that she sent in the text messages, and he still gets penalized, kind of unfair. I could see if he was not communicating to let her know what was going on, but he was she could have worked with him.

every student receives the following after they make payment & send their permit they receive the Zoom link & classroom rules in which I have them reply back with a yes that they have received the zoom link read and understand the classroom rules which was done he replied back with a yes , as I don't let anybody take my course if they don't reply back YES that they have received the zoom link and read and understand the classroom rules I have actually refunded people's money for not doing so these are the rules you receive after you receive the zoom link If you have a printer plz go to my website, under menu bar pick road test sheet & print that sheet for class, if you don't have a printer then please take a few mins to look over the road test sheet on my website so you will be familiar with it when I use it during class. I will see you ( the date& time of class) the waiting room will open up ( 1/2 hr before class depending on the day and time Thursdays it opens at 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays it opens up at 8:30 a.m., & I begin letting everyone into the meeting ( 10 minutes before class starts) YOU MUST BE IN THE WAITING ROOM BY THEN as I begin attendance & class STARTS EXACTLY ON TIME Understand that failure to login for whatever reason, be ready as well as able to be SEEN on time which means you need a camera " will result in a LOSS of your money *NO EXCEPTIONS* You cannot be in a car while taking this course or doing anything else.. i e.. working, playing video games etc. No Distractions!! please note this policy is strictly enforced! *AGAIN NO EXCEPTIONS* As these are NYS Laws , which I must keep in order to keep my license from the state ,& I will NOT let anybody risk my license!!! if you're unable to be SEEN ( which means you cannot be sitting in a dark room as I need to see your WHOLE FACE the entire time straight in front of me during class on the screen) IF I find you are not Paying Attention & I have to ask you more then twice , you will be removed from the course.. These rules will also apply when coming back from break on time Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays at noon & If your not you will not be let back into the meeting Plz note , the above link is sent early so that you can check to make sure you can log on & that your device works appropriately , Note: I am not technical support for Zoom , your device , or internet provider & should you choose not to check the link & find you are unable to log in properly or because you logged in last minute & find that you have technical issues with any above during the course in which you cannot complete it, understand this policy will still be enforced. ****************************  I never told anyone to log out just go on break and be back on time and I let everybody back in the meet who is back in the waiting room on time which you were not which you clearly admit, and it was more than a minute so stop telling lies everything you said is not true and if was you could make a complaint about me to New York State DMV but you didn't because you would be making a false complaint and I told you if you make a false complaint there will be consequences with DMV & I will sue you so instead you come here to BBB because BBB doesn't hold people accountable for making false complaints. I had a classroom of people on zoom who can testify what happened that day because I always leave the zoom running during dinner or lunch depending on the day, , nothing you said is true and I have a class full of witnesses that can attest to this & what happened and how late he was, my directions are very clear if you are not on time ready and able to be seen at the start of class or coming back from break which it does state in those classroom rules, you will lose your money because this is the state-run class I am just the delivery agent and if you don't follow the rules you can risk my license and I won't allow anybody to risk my license, it's no different than a regents class at a high school if you aren't in that room on time they close the door and you're not allowed in.to take the test, why because it's a state-run class and no teachers going to risk their license for anybody the classroom rules above clearly state that if you do not follow the rules you will forfeit your money and that no one is going to risk my license, yet you admit it above you didn't follow the rules but you lied as it was more than a minute but I'm supposed to make an exception for you because for some reason you think the rules don't apply to you or him and that I should risk my license for someone who doesn't follow the rules as I never know if there's a monitor in that classroom and why would I send those classroom rules if I didn't enforce them which clearly State they are enforced along with the text message that I sent after the classroom rules that says please confirm back with a yes that you have received the zoom link above read and understand the classroom rules which are strictly enforced and if I didn't enforce them that would mean what I say is not true and my word means everything to me unlike yours to you Once again I leave that Zoom meeting running during break so again you're a liar and I have no problem saying that because you are, that Zoom is left running & no one told you to log out of it just got on break and my direction clearly say if you have technical issues that's not my problem I am not your device manager or responsible for your internet service, and the fact that you can't take accountability when you don't follow rules is not my fault either, and again it was way more than a minute and I have a class full of witnesses that can testify, because when someone doesn't follow the rules and can't accept responsibility I tell everybody in that Zoom they're my witnesses to what happened that day and let me say this again I don't let anybody risk my license which I clearly state in those rules and when I asked you to confirm that you received the zoom link and classroom rules. when I start that class I'm very clear that if you get kicked out just go back through the waiting room and I will let you back in you need to learn to tell the truth and accept responsibility when you don't follow rules but when .you don't , you want somebody to risk their license to accommodate you and when I didn't you started texting me calling me names & once someone like you who doesn't follow rules & texts me nastily , I don't have to be professional anymore nor will I let anybody treat me disrespectful and call me names like you did because you couldn't accept responsibility that you didn't follow the rules and when you didn't try to risk my license therefore use this as a learning moment that when it comes to New York State DMV and people who have rules for their business you follow them or you forfeit your money, but instead you expect someone to risk their license because you can't follow rules and regulations this is for a class to get your driving license and if you can't follow the rules for a class to get your driving license you're probably not going to follow the rules of the road and then it's people who don't follow the rules who end up hurting or killing other people when driving,

by the way I just want to let you know that you publicly admitted that you didn't follow rules and should that kid or you ever hurt anybody they're lawyer is going to be looking everywhere for anything they can find on that individual and you just admitted he & you doesn't follow rules then can't accept responsibility when they don't so when he or you hurts someone on the road or any other way they're going to find this and use it against you & hom for hurting or killing someone because you've already admitted you both don't follow rules and regulations and they don't care if you say it was by a minute but it wasn't it was a lot more and I'll have no problem testifying when they subpoena me
