Misleading representation. I explicitly told them I just needed my Windows program & maybe driver working. No recovery for emails, or anything business wise. Simple. I see others complained.They want $1500+ to fix (cheapest rate). I'd buy a new computer. A scam!I want my computer back pronto.

really bad scam companie the manager ********************* is a lier..he only want get you money.they want you sign a contract and then charge the money withouth you autorization they said according the contract have 5 bussiness dyas to review the data recover.but they never want let see nothing..same day charge same day shiping a piece a junk --same manager is in all locations...is no general manager is no *************** is no way to speack w corporate number.they are dishonest people..BE AWARE DONT DO BUSSINEES W THIS COMPANIE...

Spent $50 just to mail them the drive. On the phone they said price could vary, but typically it's around $300. To my surprise they came back with a quote of $2,600. After telling them I definitely can't afford that and I was only expecting maybe $500 at the most, they offered me some "holiday special" and brought the fee down to $1,800. Still way too high, so I asked for the drive back and they charged me another $25 to return it. Maybe super wealthy people can handle those kinds of fees, but definitely seemed like some pretty shady business and now I'm out $75 for nothing.

I spoke with them on the phone twice before trying their service. During our phone call, they said a hard drive evaluation fee would be $95 if we chose not to proceed. Upon receiving our drive, they bid $2,495 to recover the data. We declined, paid the $95 and said we wanted our drive back. They stalled us for weeks. They kept trying to offer the recovery service for a little bit less each time we called to request our drive back, but even after they came down to $1,000 (which was weeks later) we still insisted that we just wanted our drive back because we could no longer trust this place. Then they said they needed an additional $25 (even after we paid the $95 eval fee per the original agreement). So we paid that, and eventually got the drive shipped back to us. It arrived not in the original heavy duty box with 4 inches of padding on all sides that I sent it with. Instead, it was in a very small box with only a single layer of bubble wrap around the drive.I'm an IT professional and have used a different recovery company many times (12+) before this one, so I know what a real data recovery should operate like. This isn't one!

I had an old external hard drive that housed all my digital photos before the days of cloud services. Years ago I accidentally deleted the photos. Then the hard drive broke!
