On January 30, 2924, I paid Shira Laser $1,128.60 for a years worth of laser hair removal treatments. I was told I would receive about 8 treatments in a year. After my second treatment, right before my third, they canceled without explanation and never answered my calls or requests for a refund. I was scammed.

July 16th 2023, I first went to Shira laser for 1 laser treatment. I was convinced by staff to buy a package. I was trying to get pregnant at the time and told the staff member that I didnt want to buy a package In case I got pregnant and laser treatment was not approved by my doctor. The staff member assured me that I would be able to continue to get laser treatment while pregnant so I purchased a package for ****** down payment and ****** per month after that. I then fell pregnant Before My next appointment. My doctor did not approve of my laser treatment So I called to try to get a refund. They said it was possible, but then never called me back. Throughout the entirety of my pregnancy, I would continue to call shira laser To check on the status of my refund and every time they said that They would check with someone higher up and get back to me and they never did.I Continued to be charged $****** a month even though they werent answering me. Finally, I spoke to someone in December that said that I could pause my membership until they figure out the refund so I did that. After that, they stopped answering my phone calls altogether. In April I had my baby so sometime after that there was no risk to my Baby And less risk to myself So I thought I might just Redeem my services. Thats when I saw online that the business was closed. I saw many other people on yelp, saying that they had the same issue and that the business had closed down before they were able to redeem the services that they paid for.

I purchased two 1-year sessions for laser hair removal from Shira laser. I purchased the Summer **** combo, and the Lower Face laser removal session for 1 year which include 8 sessions each. See my attachment on the passes (Summer body combo and Lower Face) that are active. I have used so far 2 of the 8 sessions I have which started on 1/29/24 and ends 1/29/25.I paid for these removal sessions across 3 payments, $1,606.69 on 11/22/23, $803.34 on 12/14/23, and $803.34 on 1/14/24 for a total of $3,213.37.Since May, I have not been able to contact Shira laser, and when I went to their location it seemed that they were permanently closed. See the image attached. I have left them several voicemails but they have not returned any of them.I would like a refund on the remaining 6 sessions I have on those passes because I literally can't use it.Dividing $3,213.37 by 8 means that each session (for both the summer body and the lower face) is $401.67. I used 2 sessions so I have spent $803.34, and I am requesting a refund of $2,410.03. I have absolutely not been able to get a hold of Shira Laser to discuss this and I want to file a complaint with the BBB.
