My solar installation took place in less than 3 years ago. Initially I was very excited that I was going green and could save money. However, I started having communication problems with my system and the friend who recommended them would try to help but that is not their trade. I call and no one ever calls back. Less than 3 years into this project I now have a leak in one the rooms and believe they did not seal the roof correctly. I have continuously called with this pressing matter, and no one returns calls or texts. We are paying for a system that is now costing me more money because of their sloppy work and lack of commitment to their customers.Review from Sarah J

Solanta installed my solar system a year ago and so far, so good! My electric bills have dropped to just the basic service charge. I like the app that shows system performance. Although there were delays in getting the project started due to the *** approval process, once they finally got to work, everything went smoothly. Now I'm just waiting to see if the tax credits show up, but **** has been helpful in explaining that process so I'm hopeful it will all happen as promised. Bottom line: I would use Solanta again if the occasion arose.Review from Marsha R

Where do I start? You vav to have extreme patience when dealing with this company. Our solar installation took place in 2021. We are still waiting for the company to resubmit documents to the *** ************** so we can get our tax abatement. It is not the customers' problem that you are having a dispute with your electrical contractors. Hire a new one! They never follow up. The 2 people that actually called back no longer work there. I was told to place a service via their ticketing system so they can keep track of my issue. No one calls you back. No one replies to the emails. I was lucky to get a text on 2 occasions from the manager/owner but there are no resolutions just excuses and empty promises.All this because I wanted to use a local company. We are paying for a system and are not able to take advantage of all the benefits.Buyer beware. Do your homework. Read the complaints.Review from Shanna D.

1.5 years have passed since signing with Solanta. They have been unable to perform the install. In spite of acknowledging the excessive amount of time that has passed and indicating they are willing to issue a refund in writing , Solanta has not done so and continues to hold my money (10s of ****s of dollars). Poor communication has plagued this project from the start:1. Four (4) different project managers 2. Almost no proactive communication regarding status 3. Communication only ensues after the customer reaches out 4. When the customer reaches out it typically takes weeks to receive a response Don't use or work w Solanta. Believe the negative reviews that state they have poor customer service.
