On December 22nd of 2022 Sapienza Electric was contracted to repair electrical damage caused by a fire at my home at *** ******** *** Sapienza Electric promptly repaired the damage which included disconnecting every electrical circuit in the house in order to replace the main service cable and to install a new circuit breaker box. My problem is the they disconnected the cable to my electric stove outlet and refuse to reconnect it. It as part of their job they disconnected it and stuffed it up in the rafters to give themselves room to work. I'm sure the electrician just forgot he put it there but it's part of the job and I would like it reconnected! I have been calling his office for over a year to get it connected but Joe( I believe he is the owner) won't return calls or text messages

BBB. I will have one of my workers go over there this week to fix the cable. Ask *** when a good time will be. Just curious, why *** did'nt not stop by after 2 years? The address is on the invoice.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Two years ago they installed all new circuit breaker boxes and moved the electric meter outside as per city codes, unfortunately they put the meter on the WRONG side of the house! The Buffalo city electric inspector would not approve but he had his boss come to look at it! His boss would not approve it either and he brought two men from Niagara Mohawk with him to see if they would approve and they did not! all this time I had temporary wiring hanging off my house which I wanted made permanent.  The "Planner" from Niagara Mohawk showed up and said that because of the fire he would approve it if Sapienza would reroute the main cable. Joe refused to do it. I finally got permanent service this past September, 2 years after the installation. I waited to call him till December about the 220V outlet because when they started the job I had a gas stove!!  Around Thanksgiving the oven stop working so we decided to get an electric stove ! When I checked the breaker for the 220 I found one had never been installed and the original wiring was stuck up in the rafters so we had to buy another gas stove. He reattached the 220v wiring for our Dryer but not the stove!!

On Monday the 23rd of Dec. a man came to our house unannounced a week late and after calling Joe on the 19th again! He only told my wife "Joe sent me" and never stated what company he was from. I was upstairs taking a shower so she asked him to come back later. That is where we stand now. My wife called him to explain but he would not answer! That is where we stand now! This long story is just to show what we have had to deal with for the past two years. The are other things not done but I won't pursue them, it is not worth the aggravation.

    Regards,

    *** *********

Please let me know what is going on with this complaint. It states he rejected that we come out and fix this. We did this job in 2022. Why did it take so long for the customer to contact us? Almost 2 years?
