Dave (father) and or Dakota aka Cody (son) Steacy both are scammers. Dave is a people pleaser saying yes to all of your needs or wants. When hired for an addition project in May 2024, we were told that this is a family business and it work be Dave, Dakota, daughter ( can't remember name) other son Dave and a full crew and project would be finish by June 15th, July 1, end of July, August, and then Sept, Oct and then we stopped asking. Here it is January 2025 and almost $60k later, the job is still not completed. The daughter worked this job a week then was gone. The other son Dave never showed nor did a crew. Dakota is the only person working this job from the beginning. Dave the father disappeared in August claiming he had to go back to work for old company for insurance reasons and would be back in a month. He never returned but maybe 5x in all these months for an hour here and there and not finishing one project. It seemed once must of the money is collected, Dave (the father) disappeared leaving his son to finish the work. Dakota is very nice and hard working but failed to tell us he is not a finisher until November when the complaining seemed to be to much for him and it is clear he isn't. Almost ever inch of the addition needs to be redone. I mean everything. One small example, the bathroom was made larger with the toilet being moved back towards new wall but the water line was never brought back through the floor and floor is so uneven, we can't lay the flooring that was already purchased this project. The job started as an addition to an existing inlaw suite, siding and a roof just on the addition and rebuilding of small inclosed porch on main house but then Dave offered to complete the siding and roof on the entire house. So almost $60k later and materials (siding and roofing) left all over yard now buried under feet of snow, & new addition ceiling cracked through and no one shows up but a day or 2 here and there or a week passes with no contact.
