I was charged numerous times for goods and services I did not seek or receive. I booked one appointment online and had to pre pay to keep the appointment. When my Girlfriend showed up for the appointment, no one was there and when I messaged the owner, she was home sick and never told me. She then refunded me the charge. Following that original transaction, her business withdrew a sum of $5000 over a series of withdrawals when I received notice that my credit card was then maxed out. This woman Amanda (owner of AR Autoworks) is denying these accusations to my credit card company (******* ***) stating services were received, therefore ******* *** is trying to hold me responsible. I have never received any service from AR Autoworks LLC and would like to be refunded all that is owed to me and justice to be served to them for stealing funds from me.

BBB spoke to Amanda at the business and the following was relayed: I have a new office manager who mistakenly used his saved credit card number for our business orders. There was $5,000 worth of charges to his card that square and his credit card company are working together to make sure all the money is accounted for and returned. Currently, $3,200 has been returned and the remaining $1,800 is pending under bank review. We are going to make sure the customer is made whole, including any interest or fees associated with this if they arise.

I brought my car to have windows tinted and paid $285 i believe the date was April 29, 2022 - the business took off all door panels in order to tint the windows. The following day, after the car was finished being tinted, I realized that both front and rear passenger side doors would not open from the inside or outside of car. I contacted the owner of AR Autoworks (Amanda) and was advised that this was an easy fix and to bring the car back and would be repaired. Before bringing the car back, the front door started working again however i noticed that none of the door panels were put back correctly. I brought the car to AR Autoworks on 5/2/22 to fix the back door and after about 2 hours was advised that they could not fix the door. The employee provided me with a signed damage report and advised me to bring my car to mechanic and i would be reimbursed for the cost to fix the door. I brought the car to ******** ***** dealer and was given a rough estimate of $600, i then passed this along to Amanda to confirm that she would cover this amount. Amanda asked me to take the car from ******** and let her fix the car to save her money. She covered the diagnostics fee of $81 at ******** and I dropped the car off to her. She had the car for the entire day and still could not fix what they had broken. She advised me that she thinks the child safety lock is the issue and that her employee's did not break this. The car never had any issues with the locks/doors or anything else until it was worked on at her business. I tried to explain this to her and ultimately ended in an argument. Amanda could not fix the car and is not willing to pay for the car for further fixing the issue. I left her shop and now none of the automatic locks work on the car either. All buttons on both passenger and driver sides do not work. I would like AR Autoworks LLC to pay for my car to be fixed since they were the ones to break and take responsibility for this.

Good morning,  Let's start with I have been in business almost 14 years now and i would never let a customer be without if it was my fault. We are not perfect by any means, but I know how important it is to make sure if you mess up you take owner ship of this issue. I did not sign this document as an unauthorized personal took it upon themselves to do this. We did take the door panels off to tint the windows and they were not put back on properly by one of my subcontractors and I had her come back. We fixed all the issues. She stated that her door wouldn't open. Sometimes when you take door panels off there are 2 cables that connect and disconnect at times making the door not open. The simple solution to that was clip the cable back on so the cord opens the door. A child safety lock had issues where their door would open when rattled and not open sometimes. When her car goes into the lock position the child safety lock would seize up causing the door not to open. In the goodness of my heart i told her i would fix it for her because that's the kind of person I am. I paid the subcontractor 4 hours of labor to figure out her issue. The dealership wanted 600.00 to just look at the car and they told her they had no idea what was wrong. I had told the customer what we found and that this was a coincidence, but I saved her money from the dealer. I told her you need a new child safety lock. Child safety locks don't break pulling a door panel off. The child safety lock is an interna mechanism, and it wasn't something we broke. She wasn't happy with my response, and it couldn't be a coincidence. However, she has no proof the child safety lock was always working before it came to my shop. I have video footage I will send to show you what we had found. I would have no problem paying for anything that we had done but i had a licensed mechanic come to my shop to take a look at this. If you go onto the ***** site this is a common issue with these cars. I helped as much as I could and told her we figured out what the dealership couldn't and to buy the part. She didn't like my answer and was upset. Attached is the video we sent her of what the problem was. She just won't take coincidence as an answer. The video footage im trying to send is to long to be attached. Let me know how to send the video. Thank you
