I entered into a contract with ****** (#**********) on 04/16/2020 to install a complete home **** system. The total cost of this project was $18,360.00 which was paid in full. ****** subcontracted the work to a third party installer "All Weather Temperature Control ***** As per item#5 listed on the term and conditions section of the contract "Installer will obtain any and all licenses, registrations, certifications and permits (local requirements) necessary to perform the installation services at the project address, unless otherwise required by law or where ****** elects to use a third party service."I have applied for a permit through my local town for the installation of the **** unit. The town is requesting a sketch of where and how the unit was installed in the attic to ensure that it meets the manufacturer's recommendations. I have reached out on numerous occasions to All weather in an attempt to get this sketch with no avail. Initially, I spoke with ************************* who is their president and assured me this would be no problem and he would have one of his people send that over to me. That never happened and in fact every time I have called all weather since, they say that someone will call me back which they never do. I have also called ****** and spoke with numerous supervisors who have called all weather as well and that they stated that they would call me back, which they never do. I recently spoke with a manager at ****** named ***** He also stated that they will have all weather reach out to me and that there isn't much else that they can do. All weather is refusing to provide a sketch of the install which is needed for the permit and ****** is also not assisting in this situation.Lastly, I could not find All weather in the list of BBB accredited companies, but they claim to have an A+ rating from BBB on their website.

    **** *** *** ***** ********* *** ********

    ***********************************,

As I am sure you are aware, my company All Weather Temperature Control, Inc. has been designing and installing residential and commercials heating and air conditioning systems on long Island since **** or 53 years under the same 3rd generation Stone family.

** **** has apparently filed a complaint that we did not forward a pencil drawing of the new heating and air conditioning system we installed on 04/28/2020 - 2 years prior. ** **** made the request to me via e-mail 04/06/2022 at 12:54 pm. I explained to customer that I would prepare the drawing myself. I also explained that I had not been in his attic, so I had to pull the files and check with the installers to confirm accuracy of the drawing I was about the present. I sent the drawing 04/19/2022 at 4:00pm, Thats 9 business day later.

Sometimes we get unrealistic complaints from customers that do not understand what they have purchased or what they are getting themselves into. We work very hard at explaining accurate expectations when customers are purchasing a heating and cooling system for their homes with very few complaints. We install several hundred systems every year.  We delt directly with *******************/ (Wife) for the purchase, not the husband *******.

Just for your information, Customer/** **** complained he didnt have sufficient heat in the lower level of his home because he stated we never explained to him that he needed to keep/repair his old broken boiler as heating back-up when the weather gets cold. All heat pump systems require back up heat during extremely cold out door temperatures.  He refused to do so until we installed a $5,295.00 brand new gas boiler for FREE.  When I called to follow up after we installed the free boiler, he said he was happy and the house was heating properly.

We are hoping the customer is satisfied with our on-going commitment to meet every customers needs. Please feel free to reach out if I can be of further assistance,

    Thank You!!!!

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The Town has rejected the pencil drawing submitted by all weather since it lacks sufficient details. Specifically they are asking how the unit was installed (as per the manufacturer's recomdation) and how much clearance it has from any combustible materials.

Better Business Bureau: I provided the town with the appropriate diagram they had requested and subsequently was issued a certificate of completion for my hvac permit. Therefore, at this time I would like to withdraw my complaint of All Weather temp. I would like to thank the BBB for your assistance in this matter.

    Best regards,
