  This is the 3rd or 4th time I’ve encountered this problem with this laundromat, I have been hesitant to use BBB because I wanted to give the business the benefit of the doubt as it is a small business. But enough is enough. I have had more or less about $600 dollars of clothing ruined by this place. I’ve double checked both washers and dryers to make sure there was no remnants of the previous wash. Must have been something internal. The business has a white board to write problems with machines. Have let them know but to no fix whatsoever. I have photos of all ruined clothing. Photos listed are photos from just tonight. Both shirts retail at $100.00 . If necessary I can provide photos of multiple pairs of pants ruined which each retail at $120.00 . I would like restitution from the business in the form of replacing my damaged clothing. I am not an unreasonable person at all and like I’ve stated previously I’ve tried giving the business the benefit of the doubt but I just can no longer allow this to go. I feel that other consumers are at risk of their clothing being ruined as well due to the business’s neglect and I would like something to be done. Photos will not go as an attachment but I would be more than happy to correspond by email to prove the damage

  BBB spoke to the business owner and the following was relayed: Was it a washer or a dryer?  Which washer # or dyer # was it?  What date did it happen?  Do you have pictures?  We do thousands of washes daily.  No other customers have complained or brought anything to our attention.  Also, there is a white board in our store where customers can write something like. "washer #3 is full on quarters."  So we check that whiteboard, and we check everything daily.  We have not found any issues, nor have any issues been reported to us.

  The original date of my complaint 6/18/24 was the date when my clothes were ruined. The business claims to do "Thousands" of washes daily which is completely inaccurate and a blatant lie. I have tried using their whiteboard to complain about clothing being ruined because of non-cleaning or negligence of their machines, but that still does not replace the clothing that was ruined. BBB's website was not allowing me to attach the photos of the ruined clothing but I would be more than happy to send it to the business owner directly because I still have them on my phone with the original date (Date of complaint). Also, I still have the clothing in question because I had a feeling the business would claim my negligence or call me a liar so it could be directly presented to them. I am unsure of the washer or dryer number. They have a camera that follows you around the building while you're in there so they can check it and see which washer and dryer I used and when it was used. Like i've stated before I am not a fan of criticizing small business or trying to get money out of them because I understand how tough it is to run a small business and how important they are to the community, but that being said when I have had multiple pairs of clothing ruined during the FIRST WASH something has to be done.    ***** ******
