Horrible customer service from Ron & Newt's garage in E Pembroke NY. I had them tow a 2001 ****** into their business to see what needed to be done to get the car running. I also told them I was in no hurry as I was trying to get moved into a new residence. I also told him that I had major eye surgery on June 6th and was recouping from that. His exact words to me were, "That's not my problem". My eye doctor had me on no driving, no flying and no lifting so I was restricted from driving to the business to take care of this. I also told him I had someone who was interested in buying the car but his mailbox was full so I couldn't leave a message. Now, today 10/2/23, a Genesee County deputy called me and started an argument with me over this. He had no idea what had transpired before today. He told me the owner said I had abandoned the car and it had been sitting on the lot for two (2) years, which was an outright lie. The vehicle was towed from my previous residence in March 2023. I have no idea why the owner of Ron & Newt's garage has taken such a negative attitude towards me; and to call the cops on me as I had been in touch with him. He has lied about the times I have been in touch with him and when the car had been towed. His attitude towards myself as a veteran and a senior citizen has been the worst I have ever encountered in my life.
