Pyramid rents space on ** ******** towers to tentants like myself. In early 2021 we reached out to lease space on ** ******** tower "Everett". We agreed on a rental price and application fees. On 6/14/21 we wrote a check for $4200.00 for the application fees. We were told we would be able to install our equipment on the tower in 90 days. (Industry standard) The check was promptly cashed, it is now 1 year later. Despite repeated attempts, many emails, many phone calls and much effort on our part. We have still not been granted the permission to install on this tower. Because of the nature of the business, and in preperation to install on this tower, we have expended more than $70,000 in permits, drawings, materials and equipment. This project was to be federally funded and completed by June 30th, 2022 in order to be funded. But since Pyramid did not deliver permission to install in 90 days, we will now lose this $70,000 in funding. This was clearly explained to Pyramid up front and they assured us it would be no issue. now, a year a later and within 15 days of losing our funding, they are totally ghosting us. NO updates, NO calls. Just nothing.. In this process, they failed to disclose upfront that ** ******** did not own the ground the tower was on and would need land owner consent before being allowed to sublease, they also did not disclose that a revenue share was required and payable to the land lord. So after the monthly rent amount was agreed on, and signed off on, they came back many months later with a much higher rent amount and blamed it on the rev share, which they never disclosed. In this industry, land owner consent & rev shares are required to be disclosed BEFORE the application is submitted & the appilcation fee is paid. Because obviouslty both of those can greatly change the end rent amount and go live dates. Pyramid has repeatedly blamed their lack of response on ** ******** who has blamed the land owner, the ** **** *********. I will report both.

    Business response

    07/28/2022

BBB spoke to the business and learned the deadline was extended.Response from business.I did want to circle back and let you know that Mr. ********* has been contacted many times as the underlying lease renewal has progressed and has expressed his appreciation for where we are at currently. We expect his contract with **** to close in August and he even said he would buy us all a steak dinner if he meets his funding deadline!
