I have been waiting for three months for them to fix my dryer. Every time the technician come, theres another problem. At least the first guy used to fix stuff and order parts. The other two guys are standing fix nothing parts, which they dont never gets fixed. Im asking for a replacement dryer and a refuse to replace the dryer.P.C. Richard & Son Inc. Response

GETTING RUN AROUND WITH ***** THAT UNDER WARRANTY. I HAVE BEEN WAITING ON A ***** REPAIR SINCE 12/25. EVERY WEEK, THERE'S SOMETHING THAT COMES UP THAT DELAYS MY REPAIR. ONE WEEK, THEY ARE ORDERING THE PART. THEN, I RECEIVED AN ***** THAT THERE WAS A DELAY IN PART. WHEN THE PART ARRIVES, THE TECHNICIAN CAN'T INSTALL IT BECAUSE HE NEEDS ANOTHER PART. THE ***** COMES IN THAT THERE IS A DELAY IN THE NEW PART. WHEN THE PART ARRIVES, THE TECHNICIAN NEEDS ANOTHER PART. AFTER ANOTHER WEEK, THE PART NEEDED IS DELAYED, AND I HAVE TWO OPTIONS: 1. FULL CREDIT OR 2. WAIT FOR THE NEXT PART. I CHOSE OPTION 1. I VISIT THE STORE AND GOT THE NEW ***** WITH MY CREDIT. THE SALESPERSON DOESN'T INCLUDE INSTALL. SO WHEN THE RUDE TECHNICIANS ARRIVE, THEY HAVE TO RETURN THE ***** BECAUSE THEY CAN'T HOOK UP GAS LINES. I REVISIT THE STORE; A NEW ORDER IS WRITTEN UP, AND THE NEW ***** IS SET TO ARRIVE WITH INSTALLATION. EARLY IN THE AM, DELIVERY DRIVERS CALLED WANTING TO COME AT 730 AM WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE AT 10 AM. Picked out a new washer and dryer from here (*********, ** location), needing new machines as our old machines were near their life expectancy and with a baby on the way, we wanted to minimize issues. Fast forward a few months later where the washing machine (** brand) stops working, and the effort to get it repaired is made difficult (requiring many calls and complaints) leading to the machine being scheduled for a repair after being unusable for a month. I receive misleading information such as the technician saying he needs to order 2 parts but when contacted P.C. Richard's parts says there is a 3rd part they are waiting on, or being told my repair would be prioritized due to the inconveniences only to be given no priority. On top of that, in an already chaotic time of a newborn I had to find ways to regularly get clothes cleaned (especially when the baby gets everything dirty). Now I'm stuck waiting for a repair, wondering if the machine I received has other issues, which should not happen to a new machine. P.C. Richard did nothing to alleviate my concerns, have been anything but transparent, and have caused me to worry further about a new product I purchased from them. No longer feel comfortable buying here, even if I have to pay more elsewhere.P.C. Richard & Son Inc. Response

As a continued follow up, a technician was at my house 1/21/25 to repair the machine with the new parts. Although the new parts were installed and functional, the technician could not fix the machine (seeming to be a wiring issue). Since P.C. Richard mentioned exchanging the machine if it could not be fixed, I am awaiting a call to schedule replacement of the machine (I expect that my replacement will be prioritized due to my length of time without my new unit).Customer Response

Not only was the technician who arrived on 1/21 unable to fix the machine with the new parts, he was unsure of the issue and recommended a new machine be provided. When I called P.C. Richard that same day they said it would take 24 hours for the report by the technician to be in the system. On the evening of 1/22 I receive an email and text that a "specific part" is required to repair my machine, no one reached out to me before this auto-alert nor has anyone answered my calls this morning. A machine less than 6 months old has had 2 technicians diagnose the device, Im in the dark as to what repair is left to be done since the technician stated they would push for a new machine, and Im over a month without a washing machine. No communication by the repair team and already several days Ive had to have family member be available for technicians. It seems P.C. Richard has no care about customer issues, and at this point have exceeded a fair repair period as outlined in the warranty. It is clear that this machine has issues that should not occur in a new machine, and attempting repairs is insulting and not what I paid for when agreeing to buy a new machine.Review from Brian A

Terrible customer service. We have a ******* stove that is about seven months old. The burners Do not go to a low temperature and are only staying at high. A repair tech come out to look at it on November 12 as soon as he saw it he said he was ordering the parts. He knew it what wrong. Then on November 21 a different repairman arrived. I saw that he had a box I was only to assume with the parts. He immediately told me there was nothing wrong with the stove and he refused to repair it and I didnt know what I was talking about and this is just how this stove works I showed him a video of the stove, not working and he dismissed me. Saying that he was the repair person was refusing to fix anything. anything that is put on the burners boils and ***** over at the lowest possible temperature. When I repeated that to the repair man, he told me I didnt know what I was talking about and if I thought it didnt work that I should just buy a new stove and I would have the same issue because this is how the stove works. He was disrespectful and condescending. I called my husband and put him on speakerphone to speak with the repair man. He was so rude that my husband had to ask him to get out of my home. He was making me uncomfortable. He was adamant about not fixing my stove. I still have no working stove. Ive called repeatedly. Ive spoken to supervisors. Ive gone into the store and spoken to the sales person. Theyve reopened our case and said that they would order parts and a new repair man. We are now going into Thanksgiving and I do not have a working stove. We have been loyal customers for over 20 years all of our home appliances, air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators microwaves have all been from PC Richards. Im so disappointed that this was not expedited. We shouldve had a tech fixing the stove the next day. PC Richards should be embarrassed at how their repair person behaved. Spent thousands of dollars on appliances. Delivered, had to be replaced. Replaced had to replace again. Replaced again had to come and replace a compressor. Still having issues. My wife works until 2am so I am up with her. We tell them this they say they will work with us them call saying they will be here at *****. I say he'll no we are sleeping maybe 6 hours. Will not shop here again ** purchased a frigidaire a/c which was horrible, loud I couldn't even sleep. I spoke to the store manager and my sales person and they would not accept it back because the tech that came said it was fine. I contacted my cc commpany and they negotiated selling me a replacement and I would pay the difference. The replacement is just as bad and now they will not giv eme my money back they want me to come into the store and pick out a new one. I will not do that I told them I only want a refund. I bought a ******* refrigerator with extended warranty on September 16, 2023, the refrigerator broke down one year and a month to be exact, we called the service department on Saturday, October 19, 2024 and the service department said that their repair service will be there on Thursday, October 31, 2024, which we thought would be a long time to wait, they suggested we get a loaner, which we have to pay and P.C. Richards will reimburse us once our refrigerator gets repaired or replaced. We did not want to wait that long and went to the store in ********, ******, on Sunday, October 20, 2024, where we originally purchased from. We spoke with ******* who is the general manager, he was able to bump up our date for repair to Thursday, October 24, 2024, we did get a loaner that was delivered on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, now we have two refrigerators taking up space and electricity. The repair man came on Thursday, October 24, 2024 and said it might need gas, they said it can take a week for someone else to come and put gas on it, if by putting gas still does not work, they will have to figure out if it needs any other parts or just replace it. On Friday, October 25, 2024, I called to find out if they had an estimate as to when someone would come to repair the refrigerator, according to them, there was no records showing that the repair man showed up on October 25, 2024, these people are clueless and unprofessional, every time my husband and I called, they were very clueless and seem to be no help, at the service department we spoke to ***** ******** ********** Vianka, ***** and many more, we tried to get a supervisor up to no avail and told us a supervisor will call us back, but they never did, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, the service department still did not get it together, later on that day we received a email that the part (s) required to complete the repair are expected to be received into their parts distributor around Monday, November 4, 2024.P.C. I bought a large AC and had it installed by PC Richards with the insurance that I bought for this item. It was installed on 7/17/24, on 7/18/24 I needed the serial number for this AC for insurance purposes and when I took the front grill off and saw the filter was damaged. I went to the store in Nanuet, NY, to show them the damaged filter and told them I needed a replacement, as I had purchased the insurance. They didn't have one in the store told me they would order it and have it sent to my house. After many phone calls to their managers to check the update for this filter replacement, I still don't have this item, today is 10/ 25/24...what did I pay insurance for? This is a horrible way to do business, such a simple part and I still don't have it!Review from Steven B

Incredibly disappointed, we have always purchased all of our appliances from PC Richard. Our ** refrigerator stopped worked 7 weeks ago, we have had 3 different companies visit from the insurance we purchased and it's still not fixed. So many days we have had to wait around and they still won't replace the refrigerator. Even worse they want to replace it with the same defective model, the repair people keep saying the model we have is breaking everywhere. It's only two years old! We have two kids and it's been a nightmare trying to get them to eat healthy when we just one a tiny temporary refrigerator. There is no end in sight with a 4th repair company that will be the last one before we can get this defective refrigerator replaced by same defective model. This has been an absolutely horrific experience, and we have to completely rethink how we purchase appliances. No end in sight and more lost time from work.P.C. Richard & Son Inc. Response
