    BMW of Orange County's Response:

    This vehicle was NOT brought in by the customer stated above. This vehicle was brought in by ******************* Autobody. The repair order is written under ******************* Autobody. There are three concerns written on the Repair order;
    Lighting Concern- Autobody states they replaced the driver's side headlight and it needs to be programmed.
    Cooling system- Customer states heat doesn't work until you hit the gas
    Check engine light- Check engine light is staying on
    The fourth line was:
    Comp Inspection- which every car receives.
    There were multiple services that were recommended and declined. One of them being the A/c Heating Concern. The ** Blower and Blower final state need replacement first and then a recheck of the system needs to be performed. Price $719.08.
    Please see attached Repair Order. The customer has NOT called us regarding this issue, and it should be taken up with the Body Shop that fixed the car,

    Order Issues

    My husband and I paid a $1,000 deposit to purchase a *** from the BMW of Orange County dealership on June 30, 2022. After weeks of the dealership being unresponsive to us despite having our deposit and sensitive financial information, coupled with us receiving negative feedback about the state of our new car from an independent inspection (car was newly damaged after we saw and agreed to purchase it), we decided to withdraw from the sales agreement. We requested our deposit be refunded and these requests were ignored. Finally, we got ahold of the manager, who apologized and agreed to refund our deposit. We saw the deposit processing to our account, only to find out days later that they had reversed the charge. They are now not responding to our calls or emails, and have literally stolen from us.

    This customer gave a deposit on 6/30.  Her deposit was refunded on 7/18.  This customer made specific slanderous charges on numerous internet sites against a specific client advisor that was completely unnecessary.  This customer gave a deposit on a vehicle that had not been through the shop and decided not to purchase after having an independent shop look at the vehicle.  This processes took time.  The turnaround time for the deposit refund was 18 days at the busiest time of our month.

    If I can provide any additional information, please let me know.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    [Your Answer Here]

    The dealership said they refunded our deposit and then reversed the payment. When we reached out to question the dealership about the reversed payment, they didnt respond to us, not even the manager. The only reason we received our deposit back is because we filed a case with the credit card company and successfully disputed the charge.

    In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

    Sincerely,
