    This business installed a **************** ********** with heat pump unit on my property in 2020. The unit includes a five-year warranty. In early April 2023 I had a friend (an HVAC professional for another company) stop by to charge it in preparation for the summer. Upon charging the unit we discovered there was a refrigerant leak in the indoor unit coil. We confirmed the unit was still under warranty and I contacted this company to begin the process of getting a replacement indoor unit. They said they could not just "take my word for it" and wanted to come out to do testing, I told them my friend is an HVAC professional and they requested a report from him. He contacted them by phone and they informed him it was a warranty job and they would work directly with me to resolve the situation. This was in mid-April. Since then, I have sent multiple emails to the company owner (typically this is the best way to reach him). I reached out by phone and requested a call back. To date I have heard nothing from him, and it is now mid-May. This unit cost well over $3k and I expect better service for the price I paid. Dodging my attempts to reach him is unprofessional and frankly juvenile behavior.
