Hired Cute Construction early 2024,and they began work late September2024.Work included tear off and replace roof, remodel kitchen and add a bath.1st issue that we saw was that it took over a month to do the roof, but also the main house roof was not tore off, just covered over. When asked about the main roof, was told that it was to be torn off when they put the metal on,it was just there for rain purposes. We watched, and metal was only put over it. When roof was 98 percent done,we called in for a draw, the inspector came and said ok because what was left wouldnt take that long to finish.Once the check was issued,no one stepped back onto the roof.At this point, the draws ended up paying for the entire roof at the dried in phase, and it also paid for the bathroom before anyone stepped foot into the house, so at this point,he has been overpaid more then $9500.00.Water issues arose and we spoke with him on a solution, and we ended up paying money to him from our own account, we agreed to help him but then he went and started the work himself and never showed up to finish,so we finished it.During Nov. very little work went on,and on Dec.1st we mentioned that there was a Dec.19th deadline to be totally finished,he said it may be close but he was sure it would be done. He came and worked with another person for 2 days the 2nd week of Dec., the other guy showed on the 3rd day and couldn't work without Coty, due to no materials, so left. From here out, the worker offered to finish if materials were here, and has shown up many times to do so but to find out Coty still hasn't ordered supplies. The final week in Dec., Coty said he was ordering the materials, asked for a list of our preferences, texted that he ordered stuff from *****. The worker and us waited to hear when to go pick the order up, after 2 days, we called *****, and found out there has not been any order by this company or phone number since 2023. At this point, we have asked to be reimbursed, and we are ignored.
