    Terrible billing experience. I was double charged over a month after receiving service, and getting that money refunded was comically bad. It has taken 5 calls and more than a month for one simple refund. The billing department continued to walk me in circles, make up excuses for why the refund hadn't been issued, and leave me with false promises about specific dates that came and went with no resolution. All for a mistake THEY CREATED! Complete lack of accountability.

    Worst billing system and department ever! We consistently get double and triple billed for something we paid already. Get a better system !!!!

    I was supposed to get a referral for an orthopedic doctor for torn ligaments in my wrist and hand, and they never called me. When I called them the man that answered the phone wasn't helpful just gave me another number to call. I called that number spoke with someone they said they couldn't find me in the computer. She said she would call me back. 24 hours later still no call from her. I call back again spoke to another person who put me on hold for 20 minutes. Then came back and transferred me to someone else. Finally this woman gave me a referral. I go to appointment and she never sent my X-rays . 3 hours later they finally found them. The Dr came in didn't even examine me didn't look at my wrist, didn't touch my wrist just told me to do exercises. Meanwhile the first Dr I saw said you couldn't see torn ligaments from an X-ray yet no other tests were done. I'm supposed to go back for a follow up in 2 weeks I'm cancelling that appointment and going somewhere that's not affiliated with nuvance health.

    Nuvance assumes control of ****************************** without notifying patients about billing policies in the ********* Room. No staff or responsible person contacts me. I receive a bill from ********* Services of NY, PC with no additional contact information except instructions on how to pay online. Initially, I perceive it as a potential scam because I am unaware of third-party involvement due to the lack of information provided.The bill eventually goes to collections without any contact information. Despite managing to dispute it, someone from HRRG collections named ************ contacts me. However, he refuses to provide information and presents conflicting statements regarding whether the agency was out of network or if my insurance claim was denied. He cites HIPAA, despite me being the patient. To expedite resolution, he offers a 30% discount if paid immediately, and I comply, paying in full to eliminate the bill. Surprisingly, I then receive a new bill for the discounted 30%. It feels like a deceitful maneuver.Nuvance remains unresponsive. The lack of communication in the ********* Room is alarming. I was never informed, and my family was not contacted during the entire process.

    Do not go here. Came for scans. The Radiologist misread the scans with an incorrect and bad diagnoses that it then took repeat scans at a different (better!) hospital and visits with multiple doctors and thousands of dollars to correct. Hard to get them to send the scans out to other doctors and hospital, took multiple calls, checking, etc. Sent to the wrong place. Also never sent me a bill, then got a first (!) notice from collections. The people who worked there seem very genuine and nice, but this is not a place I think anyone should go.

    If you’re sick don’t bother. They tell you how crucial it is that you stay overnight so they can control your meds and they vanish for 14 hours! Skipped doses of iv antibiotic. Called nurse multiple times to no avail. Finally had to scream and cuss for someone to listen to me. It’s unbelievable that it’s the only way they pay attention. I’ve been here since yesterday morning and have had no food besides graham crackers and that’s because my sugar dropped! Now they will charge an arm and a leg for this “service”

    My doctor's ****** used to be amazing, simple to contact and communicate, wonderful staff - they still are a wonderful staff but their portal situation, where my private information goes, the plain pain in the a** it is to get something to work. This portal doesn't talk to that one, my information is out on both the Green and Blue platform I have to now have a separate portal for my doctors appointments vs. my specialists, vs. hospital vs. rehab. It's just plain s*** If your doctor says they are switching to NUVANCE Health - find another doctor.

    I have called the *********** ************ Office multiple times to try to set up an appointment with the *************** Doctor. I am in severe pain.I'm promised a call back, which never happens!

    ************* with private rooms but not enough staff, nurses work a 3 day week so are always tired and snapping at you, If you need help with a bedpan or urinal good luck you will have to wait 45-mins to an hour! If you are unable to use your hands you will lose weight they bring your food which is usually cold and just leave it there with no one to help you eat.Doctors if you are lucky to see one comes in for 30 seconds then they are gone! If you ask then to make it a little cooler in the room because you can't breath they say "they will see what they can do" which is nothing!

    I have been seeing the doctors and using the facilities at Putnam Hosp. for the last 10 years, and I have no complaints regarding the services provided. However, when it comes to their billing system, it should bring shame to the organization. For the last year, and on multiple occasions, Nuvance kept billing me for the discounted amount that my insurance company had negotiated with them. For instance, and as an example: Nuvance bills my insurance for $450.00, then my insurance pays $180.00 -after the adjustment amount-, next Nuvance bills me for the difference as if it's my responsibility. I have called multiple times, and for each I got the names of the reps I talked to. All of them admitted to the error and promised to fix the issue, but keeps happening; I explained that it's not my job to solve their accounting mess every time I see one of their doctors, although it got me nowhere. If I could just ignore these problems, I would, but these erroneous bills get sent to collections after a period of time, thus becoming even more complicated. It also got me thinking that this could be unethical billing practices from Nuvance, get paid by insurance, but still bill the patient hoping perhaps some will not notice... After over a year of fighting and arguing I realized that I reached the end of my patience, I have no other choice than to find other physicians and stay away from Nuvance. Sad, just sad... *** *****
