0 ZERO STARS, Blue Compass, Albany,NY..At an RV Show, gave a deposit, did not get a camper, changedour mind within about a week, we decided not to get the camper , and it was to be delivered to Albany anyway, but never came, as promised. So we requested a refund, for our $500.00 deposit. That was over a year ago with multiple requests and visit, telling us it wasn't them, at Albany Blue Compass saying we have to travel to a Vermont location, why??? No money returned. No offer of a credit which we suggested for in their camping store, but offered a credit if we buy a camper, which we won't be doing. We may have go to court to recover our loss. Not a good way to do business, rob people and we are seniors.Review from Kathleen H

We purchased a 2023 ********* ************* ** ** new from Blue Compass RV in Latham, NY in April 2023 under a trade-in agreement for our 2021 ********. In August, we listed our beautiful ********* on consignment with Blue Compass because we have an opportunity to purchase a family vacation home and will no longer be using the camper. Our beautiful RV did not sell, and we picked it up last week in Latham to bring home and winterize. What transpired then was a disappointing and unsatisfactory experience with this Blue Compass dealership on every level. When we picked up our *********, we were appalled at the condition in which our RV was returned. It was immaculate when we brought it there to sell and was returned to us with grease on the dinette seat, a filthy dirty toilet bowl, damaged and missing items and most shockingly, realized that our ********* had been fraudulently marketed. A flyer taped to our dinette table advertised our camper as 'NEW' with an original listing price of $200,000 which was an outright lie. They boasted it with a new reduced price of $84,000 less than sticker at $115,000. This is false marketing and illegal advertising and when we raised this discovery with Blue Compass, we were met with indifference and no apology for any of the above. They are not deserving of the one star left above. The rudeness and dismissiveness displayed by both front desk staff and Mr. Z****** of the consignment department was and is unacceptable customer service. We were customers of Blue Compass and were treated very badly following this consignment arrangement, and as a result will take our future business elsewhere. We advise anyone reading this complaint to do the same.Review from Greg D

I would leave 0 stars if I could. The salesperson we used never responded to us after she got the sale. The brand new fifth wheel was filthy when we saw it, the refrigerator door was dented and there were some other things that needed to be fixed. We assumed all would be fixed and it would be cleaned 2 months later when we picked it up. While replacing the bottom freezer door, they completely smashed up the top refrigerator door. They never seemed sorry, they acted like they were doing us a favor and like we were bothering them when we asked why is wasn't cleaned or prepped at all. Anita came out with a spray bottle and a rag......was she going to clean the filthy, black floors on her hands and knees? I was so frustrated, i just said forget, I'll clean it myself. Since we drove over 2 hours to get it, and assumed it would be prepped and clean, we were very disappointed but decided to take it and bring it home. We were told to come back and have the refrigerator door replaced. Well, they never registered it, even though they had 2 months to do it. Once again, no apology, they really didn't care. We were not going to drive 5 hours on another day to get it so we told them they would have to deliver it. All of of a sudden a manager who we never saw, because they all hide, gave us something that would make it legal to drive home. So in June we brought it back (5 hour trip) so they could replace the top refrigerator door that they damaged and surprise! While replacing that they dented the bottom door. They used the kitchen table as a saw horse and the kitchen counter as a work bench. (greasy tools on my counter and cutting board) They tracked mud and dirt inside and then to top it off, .2 peolpe in the office rudely called us liars. Now they are having another door shipped to us so we can put it on ourselves. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The rudest people. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!Review from Katelynn S

Bought a $25,000 used camper from them in November 2022, it was in the shop for the inspection & walk through the day we picked it up all seemed well. Fast forward to April we go to open up the camper to prepare it for the season & low and behold the roof leaked, called Albany RV 3x to be told someone will call you back, 2 weeks go by no call back, 4/23 call again & the the lady on the end of the phone at AlbanyRV acts like I’m lying & questions me about no one calling back. I tell her the camper we purchased in November has a leaking roof and I would like to speak to someone about it! She states “ well it’s a used camper” I said yes I understand that but don’t you think you should have disclosed that it had a leak?! She replied with “ well was it leaking when you bought it?” She took my email address told me she would be CC me on an email to the service manager, still have yet to receive this so called email. This is absolutely ridiculous I have a 2020 camper that needs roof repairs, now a new mattress from us not realizing it was leaking! DO NOT buy a camper from AlbanyRV in Latham!Review from Stephanie M.

Initially we were happy with Albany RV. They called us stating they have a trailer from a different dealer that meets our criteria and would be what we were looking for. The deal they offered couldn't be beat, we provided a deposit on 1/14/23. We were told the trailer would be at the local location in a few weeks. On 2/4/23, went in credit card and the deposit was retracted on 2/1/23. We didn't receive any call or notification that the deposit was being refunded and why. We texted the salesperson with no response later calling being told that person was in the office that day transferring call to voicemail. We received a call back from the manager stating the trailer was sold to someone else. Not only did they not hold up the deal but they weren't even going to tell us. We will not go there again and encourage others to also go somewhere else. Their customer service and courtesy was very poor. We will take our business elsewhere.Blue Compass RV Response

The service department from this dealership is terrible. Do not use them if can avoid it. They had my RV for weeks and didn't do the repairs. It was hard to get ahold of them. Always took a few calls to get a response. AVOID if you can.Review from Marge D.

This is our third camper we have purchased through Albany RV. Along with the purchases we have also purchase a on site warranty. After many many years we haven't had to use any warranty services. It just happens we now have a problem with our refrigerator in our current camper. Well Albany RV has decided they do not do on site repairs any longer and that we need to find service ourselves that accepts the warranty . After many emails and hours of calls to the warranty company come to find out the wrong VIN# was submitted to the warranty company. I have asked that the right be resubmitted to the company. Again no response from Albany RV. They will also not honor the on site repairs any longer. At one point I was told we must have signed a waiver stating that. I did not sign any waivers. So just be aware that they do not honor warranties once they get your money.Review from Dick S

Gave a deposit on a RV to hold it. Upon driving it seemed to be under powered. Living in Colorado and the mountains I passed on the unit. The policy on the refund is up to 30 days to return the credit. I was promised for the last 10 days it would be applied, it has not. It is now beyond the 30 days and I still have not received a credit. In looking at reviews this is a common complaint.
