In June of 24 I purchased a used ****** ****** from AutoLand Marcy - Rep Donna with a down payment of $1,500 within 90 the transmission blew in the vehicle at that time Auto Land traded in the vehicle rolled the existing loan on top of the new loan for the new vehicle plus changed $265 for DVM fees upon getting the keys for the new vehicle 2014 **** ***** I noticed it didn’t have a working radio at the moment I contact the owner / Dealer Ben and told him I didn’t want the vehicle, he replied “ Car financial requires 3 payments prior to being able to trade , when I contacted car financial they stated they have no such policy they only handle payments. At that moment I refused to make payments and dropped the vehicle off at his lot yesterday, he sold me a lemon with no efforts to repair or make right, in the **** tires kept blowing out ( Front end ) I have to replace 5 + tires in a 2 months period, transmission is also failing - when I contacted him, he made no efforts and or attempt to rectify the situation in a professional manner. I don’t even know how that vehicle was inspected in the NYS unless it was done fraudulently. I’m requesting my credit report to be cleared of all damaging remarks, I’m also requesting a refund in the amount of $2,995.00 He takes advantage of the less fortunate. It’s a disgusting scheme he runs.

Ben of AutolandIn regards to this complaint filed, as stated customer did not make any payments on the vehicle in which we went for the repossession through car financial. Where the 2995.00 came into effect is unknown since there was a balance of 5774.00.  with his Trade in and the money put down $265.00, for which went to NYS DMV for registration and his sales tax.  There were no complaints on this vehicle until I stated the vehicle was up for repossession for non-payment. At that time I told him if there was a problem get caught up on his payments and to come figure out with me.  But after that the car was returned a voluntary repossessionI would be happy to speak to him person to try and rectify this situation as far as his credit rating. I can dissolve this as a voluntary repo and get it off his credit rating.  As far as the ****** concerns what he even paid on time or not I have no control of this.  As he will still have an outstanding balance from the ******.  We have been in the used car business for more than 40 years and have sold thousands of vehicles.  We try our best to put every customer in a vehicle they are happy with and a payment they can afford.  If you have any questions feel free to contact me on my personal number ************, also if the customer would like to speak to me personally please give him my cell####-###-####.Thank you for your help in this matterSincerely Benjamin M******* (owner)

This customer called in regards to his vehicle after it was purchased.  I spoke with him, made an appointment and we did address the issues he had.  We replaced the control arm with ball joint, an oxygen sensor, suspension strut as well as a wheel bearing.  however, i made him aware that due to the fact that the wheel bearing was a press in bearing, we were unable to put those in and gave him the bearing for him to have it put in at his convenience.  he had no issues with that and was happy.  He left me an email which i did not see on the Friday, stating that the car was still making noise and unfortunately due to the fact that i am the only person here working all the time, I did not see the email to the Monday following.  And the first email I actually saw, excuse the language, was ***** calling me a cunt, than a scumbag in a follow up email.  with that being said, i did offer ***** his money back as well as his old vehicle so that he was without a vehicle, but he refused it because in the time frame of him owning that vehicle it has issues that he didn't want to pay to fix, with the usual excuse of he is on his own and no one helps him, his family other than his grandma is the only one that speaks to him and everyone else disowned him.  this is not my problem.  he refused the money and vehicle.  he asked to be put in another vehicle, i was able to find a vehicle in that price range on my lot and sent him pictures and he is going into that vehicle.  ***** has apologized to the nines to me and is very appreciative of it.  I told him in regards to the ****** with the frame issue that we are addressing that, and we will send it to the welding shop if he preferred to keep it or i would even replace the subframe if needed.  he rather be in the other vehicle.  That is totally fine, the ****** will still be fixed and re inspected.

if you need to see the corresponding emails, i will be happy to send them to you, however, it will have to be via fax because there are too many to send through your system and i do not understand how to do a zip file.  my email is ************************** if you would like email me further.

    thank you for your time.

I purchased a vehicle off them in September of 2022. They said everything was up to date and it passed inspection. This was not the case and I just had to replace the brakes, control arms, cv shaft, tires. I pay over $300 a month for a vehicle that should have not been sold in the first place.
