    Good evening,I am reporting a suspected fraud engaged by a used car dealership, Road Masters II, situated in Middle Village, Queens.I put a portion of cash down on the car, which was advertised to me for $16,995. I visited the dealership today to discuss questions I had with my remaining loan, which appeared to be erroneous and much larger than it should be.The dealership could not produce to me any bill of sale on my vehicle. They also claim that no itemized bill of sale exists in their files, and that per ************** *** Regulations they were required to communicate ONLY the lump sum of the car value to the bank, and not an itemized list of charges.Instead, today, the sales office represented to me a calculator, which I am attaching. They represented to me that my inspection fee, charged by the State, was $3,999 dollars, and my certificate was $3.995. The Doc Fee and license fee also clearly seem to be high.I have already submitted a complaint with the *** in an effort to uncover what they charged Road Masters, that I eventually incurred. If the amounts are vastly lower, which I suspect they will be, I am considering filing suit. I wanted to notify the *** also of this as I am sure this is an ongoing practice of 1) fraudulent overcharging and 2) hiding their paper trail and not having itemized proof of my purchase.I am extremely grateful for your assistance with this matter.

    I was charged $3999 for an extended warranty (certified) that I did not want. When I protested the charge the finance manager informed me that the charge was standard on all vehicles sold at their lot and that I had to pay for it. It took 32 days for the dealership to give me the warranty companys contact information, and when I spoke with the warranty company they informed me that the warranty that I have was no additional cost. I want my $3999 refunded immediately!

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    I have spoken with ******** (the finance manager) at Roadmasters on several occasions regarding this matter to no avail. ******** on numerous occasions has refused to refund my $3999, and has been argumentative and confrontational over the phone. During our last conversation ******** adamantly stated that he was not returning my money and that I would have to do whatever I had to do in order to try and get my money back. The staff at Road Masters has been unprofessional, confrontational, and the blatantly lie and compound their lies with more lies. I refuse to subject myself to any further negotiations with Road Masters and opt to handle this matter with others above them.
