    I had my annual eye exam. I asked if I had a balance or co-pay. I was told no. I wanted my co tact lense prescription and was told that they can not "relinquish the prescription with out a 60 dollar fee or I can purchase my contacts with them and they will waive the 60 dollar fee"This goes against the "contact lenses rule".

    At this time, I have not been contacted by Millbrook Family Eye Care regarding complaint ID ********.
    I personally contacted my insurance company who put me on a three way call with the business, without my consent. The business stated they are charging me 60 dollars for a contact lense fitting and follow up. I have not received any other care or exam aside for my annual eye exam. They also state that they can not give me my prescription until I pay the 60 for the fitting or I have the option of purchases the contact's through them. I went ahead and purchased my contacts through them because I would not receive my prescription unless I did so or the later. Even so this "policy" is still against the contact lense rule. It very clearly states that if the exam is preformed The patient should be given their prescription. Also. They state that they can not put my eye exam through my eye insurance because there is "something wrong" with one of my eyes and has a special ICD code attached. So in addition to paying for my contact lenses I also had to pay 45 dollars because my annual eye exam was put under medical insurance.
