    Ordered a prom dress January 23, 2023. The dress was supposed to be in April 10 paid $1100 for the dress it was ******** dress keep calling and going to store and no one is there to tell me where the dresses the prom is in two weeks, and I still dont have a dress.

    If I could give ZERO stars, I would. DO NOT GO HERE!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! This woman is a THIEF! She will take everything special out of the occasion your shopping for and completely ruin the experience. I went here to buy a gown for my mom to wear to my wedding- I had the exact dress in mind which was not available in store, but I tried on something very similar to ensure the fabric and designer was what my mom would like. After months of waiting for the dress to come in, they finally called me to come in and see it. To my surprise, it was the WRONG DRESS!!! They ordered the dress I tried on in-store and NOT the dress I showed them on the computer. I ordered a Taupe dress and the dress they ordered doesn't even come in the color Taupe, so they took it upon themselves to order Silver as this was the dress i-store which I tried on, despite my order form stating TAUPE. They stated they would contact the designer but it was unlikely that I would get the new dress in time for my wedding. ******* told me to give her a week to figure it out...when I called her 10 business days later, she was unavailable so I left a message for her. When she returned my call, she left a voicemail on my phone sounding dazed and confused and completely clueless as to the entire situation!!! I disputed the charge for the gown on my credit card and she disputed my dispute by providing FALSE DOCUMENTATION. I later filed a complaint with the Suffolk County Licensing Board and again she provided FALSE DOCUMENTATION. THIEF! FRAUD! TRASH! I URGE YOU to read all of her reviews and social media pages before stepping foot into this dump. This store needs to be SHUT DOWN!!!

    Hello, in regards to this case we won the investigation from the department of state and consumer affairs and fraud. All the investigations regarding the chargeback from the bank concluded that you as the consumer were committing an act of fraud by denying the legitimate contract with your signature. As a small business we fought back against your attempt to take advantage of us with your unprecedented chargeback by providing the hard copy documents you signed in store. This claim is not justified, this is not a reflection of our business but an angry customer who agreed to store policy by signature then attempted to change her mind afterwards.

    This store should be shut down. I ordered a dress for my daughter and paid in full $740.00 on January 23rd and was told it would be in **** business days. I have been calling and left over *********************************************************** told we will check and call you back. The order slip clearly stated that I needed the dress for an event April 1st. After calling a few more times and not getting a call back I went to the store to see what was going on after hearing local moms having this same issue last year with their daughters prom dresses not coming in on time for prom after they were promised. I went in and was greeted by a man now finding out the owners boyfriend who as soon as I started saying why I was there got extremely nasty with me. After 20 minutes of waiting he could not even located my sales order. I was told he would look into this and get back to me in a few hours. As he and I are discussing my issue another lady comes in with the same issue then another. Clearly they take your money and do not care about getting you what you paid for. I spoke to both ladies in the parking lot and one paid cash and was given a discount for cash which I was not even offered. The other paid ***** again I was not offered that either. I paid on my credit card in full like I was asked. I never got that call so I went back to the store and the owner was very rude to me and my daughter. Again I was told she is looking into it and would call me back. I left telling her I will be back by 5pm if I do not hear from you. Again no call so went back for my 3rd visit of the day. They never placed my order and now they can not get the dress in for my daughter. The owner could careless so not caring about any of this. I was told it slipped through the cracks. So she takes my $740.00 and decided to do nothing about it and could not even call me to tell me after 3 visits there. It is sad that this happened to me and so many more people. This store should be shut down.

    This business really broke our hearts. So disappointing ??As many know, some dont.. my family and I owned the bar next to merrily couture in mount sinai. We had a great relationship with the owner merrily and her bf ***** during that time. They even let me borrow dresses for events. Fast forward years later. My mom and dad stopped in to look at dresses for mom for my wedding in October. They purchased one and paid through Venmo, trusting their past relationship with said owner. They were told 6 months for the dress to be made. Less then Two weeks later, my mom passed away. My aunt right away went into the store to let them know what happened and knowing there was a no refund policy, asked was there anything that can be done. This obviously was an extremely unforeseen, rare circumstance. They did offer to give the floor sample for her to be laid out in and dad said no but if anything can be done it would be appreciated. They felt terrible and said they would contact the designer and reach back out to dad. Another two weeks go by and my aunt stopped back in and asked for an update and the designers name. Niether was given. Two weeks later, the owners boyfriend, *****, reached out to dad to contact him next week with a resolution. Dad did and was told I said the weekend after that weekend (Monday) Dad reached out again and got no response. I wrote to merrily on ********* The conversation was VILE! She asked if I wanted to fight, and how gross and trashy I was ***** screamed at him and said he was going to shoot him. Saying i attacked merrily, cursed her out, etc. They broke down a number of costs, one being a restocking fee and how out of the goodness of her heart, she gave them a discount. They didnt come to the wake, they werent in any rush to help of offer any resolutions. We understood the no refund policy but when someone has a relationship with someone, and kept offering to do something.. we expected really anything. I didnt expect this.
