I learned about Parsley Health through my company, ******************. I filled out the information online in February 2024 and from what I understood, I was just signing up to learn more about them and potentially use them for medical services, but I did not understand from any of the paperwork that I would be charged any money. I never had to put in a credit card. After i filled everything out, I decided to go another route for healthcare and never heard anything from them OR received a single bill. I got a call in August from one of their sales **** and after speaking to her, I decided I did want to try out their services. I signed into my account again in mid August and chose a doctor and my appointment with them is in late October. Then the first week of October, I receive a bill for $700. They had charged me $100 for each month since February, but had not billed me ONCE during that time. I went back and checked all my emails, account notification, everything, and not ONCE had a received a bill or notfication that I owed them money in the past 7 months. Had a received one, I would have cancelled because I knew I wasn't interested in working with them during that time. I am not willing to pay the $700 since I never realized I was being billed and never utilized ANY of their services during that time. When I reached out to them they offered no understanding, their customer service was rude and unhelpful. They said they could offer a payment plan. And then told me that it was insurance and I should contact my provider.

I signed up for Parsley Health after a conversation with their salesperson. I specifically asked if their health coaches and doctors would be available since I wanted to pay for their membership only if their employees had availability and would not leave me "hanging". They assured me that there would be no issue with availability, and I signed up for their services. I had one appointment with the doctor, and scheduled one with the health coach. I was sick so needed to reschedule the health coach. When I tried to reschedule, the coach was not available for another 6-8 weeks. So while I would continue to pay for membership, the health coach would not be available to even speak to me until 2-3 months into the program. This is not what was communicated when I first signed up. In addition, the person emailing back was basically parroting their policy and told me they would charge an extra month due to their cancellation policy. So they are charging me for 2 months of services that I have not used due to lack of availability on their end. Clearly they lied to make me sign up. I need a full refund.

I scheduled my initial consultation call with Parsley Health on Monday, August 28, 2023. During that phone call, I was told by the representative that Parsley was in network with my insurance at the time and that all doctor's visit would be billed as a PCP visit and I would only be paying my copay. After my first doctor's visit, I was referred out for bloodwork by ****************** from Parsley health. After running all tests ordered by the doctor, I received an EOB from my health insurance company stating that the doctor's visit was in fact NOT covered by my insurance and neither was the bloodwork, resulting in over $4,000 of fees that I am now responsible for. I have since canceled my membership with Parsley however before doing so, I spoke with another Parsley Health Representative named ***** (phone number ************) on October 11, 2023. I explained all of the above to ***** who said that she will try her best to help and will call me back with an update. I never heard back from the representative and she has since blocked my phone number. I recently received letters from Quest Diagnostics for the fees due from the bloodwork and they are now past due. Parsley Health has an extremely unreliable customer service team that takes over 48 hours to return patient concern requests. I feel that I was giving false information by being told that I was in network with the establishment, to later find out that I am not AFTER services have been rendered. I would like a billing adjustment to Quest Diagnostics from Parsley Health, as well as a refund for the 2-3 months that I paid for services.
