On Wednesday, February 1st 2023, an employee from BlueSky Market research (BSMR) of ************************************************, using the email alias of ******************************* (would not provide their first or last name, phone number, or any other identifying information), contacted me about participating in a virtual (via ****) market research study regarding snack foods/crackers on February 7th, 2023 at 11am eastern that would pay me a $150 incentive (via ******) after the study. This work is very common in the market research industry, and incentives are always provided for this kind of market research study per BSMR's operating model. I agreed in writing to participate upon initial contact, and complied with all the requirements of the project, which included a written questionnaire (aka homework) that I sent over (on February 4th, 2023) well before the deadline. On the morning of February 7th, BSMR sent a last-minute email that contradicted the originally agreed-to start time of 11am eastern, discretely asking me to join earlier, despite the study starting at 11am. I arrived to the virtual study prior to 11am eastern, and after waiting in the **** link waiting room for several minutes prior to the 11am eastern start time, I was not let into the group and no one responded to my messages. Acting in good faith and following all instructions, I waited in the study for almost 20 minutes until I was "kicked out" of the virtual **** study and BSMR refused to provided payment despite me meeting all the originally agreed upon conditions & showing up early? BSMR went against their word after I followed all the rules, and I am aware of my rights as a market research participant and I find it dishonest and shady that you would conduct a study in this manner. It's also strange & concerning that none of you list your names, phone numbers, or any contact information on your website?I would like to be fully paid the $150 via ******, and would like a phone call from your manager.

            03/31/2023

At this time, I have been contacted directly by BlueSky Market Research regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They still owe me $100, so I would like them pay that pending amount.

            Sincerely,

            *************************
