I would like to share that I bought a mirror for over $2000 Canadian dollars on December 10, 2023. I made a mistake when placing my order, as I chose the wrong color. I contacted their customer service and they made a change in the order for me. After that, in February, I still hadn't received the mirror, so I sent them an email informing them that I still had no information about the shipment of my mirror. This email and others were never answered and I tried to go to their website, but it no longer exists. Their Instagram page also doesn't load for me. I think they have blocked us, the ones who have been defrauded!! This is definitely a fraud, I have no way of contacting them!! And I paid over $2000 for my mirror.Initial Complaint

I placed an order for a mirror in November 2023 (and saw nothing about it being a preorder item at the time). After not hearing anything, I reached out via email in January and was told they would receive stock in beginning of February and fulfill the order. It is now April and I still havent received the mirror or updates in the order. I emailed the company again, only to receive error that the email address is unavailable. And after checking online, it appears their website is shut down as well.Customer response

Mirror ordered and paid for should have been shipped mid-February and I have not received it yet. Numerous attempts at calling them is impossible because they claim the lines are down and I cannot leave a message or speak with customer service as a result. Also, emails are sent and I do not receive a response. There is no way to contact them due to this.Customer response

Purchased a mirror online Nov 7, 2023. Said it would shop in January 2024. After numerous email attempts and phone calls, I still do not have my mirror and there is no way to receive a refund due to lack of communication from this company. DO NOT BUY FROM WEST MIRRORS THEY ARE A SCAM!!Customer response

I placed an online order (Order # *****) for the ****** FRENCH OVER MANTLE MIRROR 30X40 INCH" and paid USD171.00 on Jan 4, 2024. At the time, West Mirrors's website indicated early-mid Feb shipping. While I was waiting, I saw the price of the said mirror dropping, and shipping date delaying on the website. On Feb 29, 2024 I used the "Contact Us" page on their website to ask for an update, and got an automated message in my email inbox that they received my inquiry. However, I heard nothing further. On April 3, 2024, I emailed the company back to demand for an update or have my money back. I also forwarded my email to West Mirror's email address on their website *********************************** and was notified that this address was not found or deliverable. As of Apr 5, 2024, I still have not received anything or heard anything from West Mirrors.Customer response

I placed an online order for a mirror on Jan 7, 2024. A couple weeks later I inquired about the order because I hadn't heard anything from them since the order confirmation on Jan 7. A representative informed me that my item was a "preorder". I didn't recall it saying anything like that when I placed the order and there was very little info about my order on the confirmation email, but okay. The representative said they were getting the stock of the item first of Feb and that it would be sent out then. When I didn't receive any correspondence from them in February, I reached out via email again and didn't receive any response. On 11/28/23 we placed an order with West Mirrors for a mirror to display in our store. It was slated to be shipped late January. When that date passed we noticed the website had adjusted that timing to mid February. As of 3/27/23 we have still not received the mirror. We've called the customer service number which is no longer in service. When we emailed them, the response was "Your request (*****) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff.". We have yet to hear back and have written to them multiple times since.Customer response

I am writing to report Monto Furniture and their sister company, West Mirrors due to their fraudulent business practices and complete disregard for customer service. I feel compelled to bring their unethical behavior to your attention. On 1/31/2024, I placed an order with Monto Furniture in the amount of $345.80, which I received without issue. This led me to place another order, which is where things took a turn for the worse. I discovered that one of the chairs was defective in the first order so I promptly informed them and requested either a credit or a replacement chair. However, my inquiries were met with complete silence, and I have yet to receive any resolution to this problem.On February 12, 2024, I received a confirmation of receipt of my 2nd ORDER #****** for an totaling $186.20 from Monto Furniture purchased with my debit card. However, despite repeated attempts to contact both companies customer service team regarding the status of my order, I have not received any response or the items I paid for. My emails, web contact form submissions, and messages on their social media have all been ignored and now Monto Furniture customer service email which is listed on their website is failing to send. It has become increasingly apparent to me that they are engaging in fraudulent activities, taking money from customers without any intention of fulfilling their end of the transaction. This blatant disregard for their customers' trust and well-being is unacceptable and must be addressed immediately.To date, Monto Furniture and West Mirrors have made no attempt to resolve my problem or provide any explanation for the delay in fulfilling my order. There is no customer service phone number and now the email "doesn't exist". I urge the BBB to investigate the practices of both companies and take appropriate action. No consumer should have to endure the frustration and financial loss that I have.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Customer response
