    This site is said to be a scam and Id like my money back. Im not sure why this is linked to the official ******** website. $82 for a birth certificate is insane and its not a credible site. I wasnt sure how much certificates usually cost.

    This subscription was purchased in 2023. In 2024 I received no notice of the automatic renewal (March 1, 2024) before it took place. The subscription was on a PERSONAL vs. business credit card that was automatically paid in full each month. Upon reviewing my credit card statements, I identified this as an unapproved purchase (I never used the service, did not want it, and thought it had been canceled in 2023). Elsevier customer service canceled the subscription after I contacted them by chat and email on October 11, 2024, but would not issue a refund for the unused portion of the ********* subscription. I feel that their lack of notice of the autorenewal, the fact that they can tell by my lack of activity on their site that this subscription had never been used in either 2023 or 2024, and my notice to them of my intention in 2023 to cancel were not respected. Their policies strike me as taking advantage of automatic credit card payments without adequate notice or redress to consumers. I request a prorated refund of the unusual portion (October 2024 to March 2025).

    I called on 10/21/24 to request an itemized receipt for a simulation product called ShadowHealth that was required by my college. I need this receipt to be provided to my employer for tuition reimbursement. They sent me an email with no attachment or anything in it. They stated there was an attachment and that they would investigate the issue and get back to me the same day. Of course, I heard nothing from them. I called back on 10/22/24 and was told they would call me back again in an hour because they were still resolving the matter. I even replied to an email asking if they could resend the email with the attachment they stated that they provided the first time, with no response. No one called me back that hour, so I called and asked for a manager. Of course, all the managers were "busy," they said I would get a call back by the end of the day. No callback. I called again on 10/23/24 and asked to speak with a manager again; they again placed me on hold and came back, stating the manager would call me back at the end of the day. They are giving me the runaround, do not respond to concerns, and the managers are always too busy to take a call. All I am requesting is my itemized receipt from the business from which I was forced to buy a product because of my school.

    I purchased the ******** Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination 7th edition to access the online resources, which are the study questions. I have the 9th edition but I was informed by my instructor to purchase the 7th edition as the online study questions would be helpful for exam while currently in the nursing program. I attempted to redeem my access code for the 7th edition which was unused when the book was purchased, including the access code. I scratched off thr access code the same night I attempted to access the online resources. I went to Elsevier website to redeem the book and received an error to contact the support team. I contacted the support team via chat and was told by ******** ******* ****** that because the book was sold out online, I was unable to use the access code for the 7th edition book, which was my sole purchase of purchasing the book, to use the online resources to access the practice questions from that particular book. I was then informed by the same person, ******** ******* ******, they would check to see if a later version was available but I have the 9th edition and wanted access the the 7th edition online practice questions, in which she was unable to assist with because she started the book was sold out online.

    I paid a submission fee of $277 on January 3, 2024. The journal's policy is to refund all of it except $100 if the submission is desk rejected, which it was. This means a $177 refund. This was again promised in writing in the rejection letter which I have attached. I was informed that it could take up to three months. After waiting more than three and a half months, I inquired and was given a refund of $99.72. I have repeatedly inquired about the remaining $77.28, but I am not receiving any answer. All I ask is for the refund to be completed as was promised both on the journal's website and in the decision letter, which means a refund of $77.28 beyond what was already given.

    I placed an order for copies of my birth certificate on 9/13/2022 and payment was accepted on 9/14/2022. At that time there was a projected 6 month wait. 2/1/2023 I received notice that my order was delayed. I followed up with them in May, September and November 2023 and again March and April 2024. Each time they request additional information from me which I provide promptly, and then I never hear back from them. I will send multiple follow-up emails, but with no response. I either want the birth certificates I paid for, or I want my money back. The pictures are of my order confirmation, and proof of my repeated attempts to resolve the issue through them.

    I ordered my ******** Birth Certificate from Vitalchek July 19, 2023. Vital check said processing time was 6-8 weeks. It has been 7 months and I still haven't received it. I have called their customer service number twice. Waited on hold for an hour each time and eventually spoke to a rep. who told me that ** was delayed in processing but I called the clerks office in ******** and did an application through email and it only took 3 days. Vitalchek refuses to refund my money after 7 months and still not having my **. My order number is *********. This company steals your money and then doesn't deliver and then refuses to refund.

A representative with Vitalchek did however advise you through email correspondence that as a courtesy we can go ahead and process a partial refund. We are allowed to refund to you the Vitalchek fee of $8.00 and the *** shipping fee of $21.00. We won't be able to process a refund for the $45.00 since it is the agencies fee for the certificate.     I dont have a date for which I submitted this order because I never confirmed to submit ever. Having many restrictions on the location of which my birth certificate can be sent; as a graduate student in need of their birth certificate for documentation purposes at school, I tried sending it to a location away from my home so I could get a copy for school without having to travel home for it but ultimately decided against the order because the website specifically stated that I had to send it to my home address on my drivers license. I had already submitted payment ********************** but could not go back to change it and at the last submit order button, I closed the tab as it would be normal to assume that you dont confirm an order until you click confirm to submit the order; however, I was still charge the moment they had my bank information. That is a fraudulent charge, they keep claiming that I submitted an order when I did not, and even if I did- I would not be able to receive my order as my permanent home address is not the same as my dorm address. Theyve effectively taken money from me claiming *** submitted an order when I did not and they continue to harass me to complete my order despite me having asked to cancel 4 times.

    Thank you for your feedback. After reviewing your order, we see a refund was processed on February 16, 2024, for the amount of $9.30. Seeing that your order was placed online a credit card number had to manually be entered. We are not able to take credit card information without it being manually placed. There is a disclaimer which has to be acknowledged before entering any credit card information advising of the Vitalchek fee that is charged for all Vitalchek orders placed, regardless if they are completed or not. Nonetheless, as a courtesy we did refund the fee that you were charged.

    I was forced to purchase a book bundle that I didnt need because the individual rep that works for Elsevier couldnt resolve the problem with me having the right book with the wrong ebook access code that would allow me to take the test needed to complete the course. I have been dealing with this for over 30 days trying to resolve this. I was supposed to be charged the difference of ****** which would be just giving me permanent access to the website test . Last night I spent a hour on the phone with RAF he was the customer service representative who was unprofessional rude and just nasty . He brought me to tears and said that I would not be given any refund because it has been more than 30 days since I purchased the book . He could care less that I have been dealing with this since I purchased this book bundle. All he cares about was forcing me to pay or terminate my access to the ebook I need to pass the course. They refused to resolve this problem satisfactorily so I have paid twice and I deserve my money back of ******

    I ordered an original birth certificate through the only place to get one, VitalChek. Order number: ********* Pin: ****** Ordered January 16, 2023. It has been 10 mths, no birth certificate received. It has been so long the order number and pin no longer show up on your "where's my order" page. Delivery was estimated for May 1, 2023. I wrote an email on May 8th, 2023 at 9:32 am reference# *************. No further information was provided by VitalChek. No birth certificate came in the mail. On July 5th, I emailed again. This time a "****************" responded stating it could take from 60 to 75 days to receive the birth certificate, and according to her it was day 61. (It was July 5th so it had actually been almost 6 months~120 days) She told me to wait the additional days to meet 75.On September 15, I emailed requesting an update from VitalChek. On September 16, "**************" responded asking for verification of my address. I responded the same day with the address verification. On September 25, I emailed requesting an update again. I have not received a response from them as of yet, it is October 11th.I have saved every email and response for proof of attempts made.I have paid and never received the item. I have requested they contact ******* hospital and have them send it since it has been paid for but never received. I need my original birth certificate. This is not an option of just reimbursing me. I need it as proof of who I am.
