I had this company do my Erc for me and my business not only do they harass you weekly for a payment they are not entitled to they dont do what they say. I filed my Erc in 2023 it is now 2025 all they ever do is email asking for payment for something they know I didnt receive I have been left with no other option than to hire a lawyer and will no longer be answering any questions from them I never got a Erc payment even though they said I would that never happened if you were looking into the company to help you Run Away Buyer Beware they will harass you and threaten youReview from Travis K

This company submitted a loan proposal for much more than we requested per the project's pro forma and financials provided. When we pointed this out ahead of providing all of the docs and requirements, we were told it would be fixed before underwriting. We paid the deposit and continued to provide everything requested, then were denied the loan as they never changed the funding request completely wasting our time, and money, and setting our project back while we look for a more reputable lender. We aren't experts in the loan process by any means, but we've been through the commercial lending process prior to this, and we found this company to be subpar at best through the process. Lastly, after weeks we still don't have the deposit back and the company is not very responsive unless they are making requests.Review from Dereka H

Process takes 2 weeks, after sending over all documents requested signed, I was told I would be receiving a deposit. The following Monday, I was notified that I wouldn't be receiving the funds. Such a huge let down, and quite frankly, a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience. I do not recommend doing business with Ready Capital.Ready Capital Corporation Response

This company applies for SBA 7 for me. But tries to give me half of the loan of SBA miniloan. It looks very fraudulent. I first rejected its loan.Review from Todd K

I wish I had done more research on Ready Capital before moving forward. My story is similar to many others. The worst customer service experience of my life. They wasted 2 months of my time, don't respond to emails or phone calls. My loan specialist ********************* was dishonest, unprofessional and incompetent. Despite leaving 3 dozen voicemails over a 65 day period, I didn't receive one call back. Awful form, no professional courtesy, no self respect. Very sad company. I had a similar experience as many; this company will WASTE your time. I spent time executing the application process and providing documents as requested/required. This process took over a week and I finally received an approval letter which required me to execute an eSignature and was told a Loan Officer would be calling the next business day. I never received a call; I emailed and called three times within a 24 hour period requesting an update to finally receive a generic email stating I did not meeting the lender's risk tolerance. I received NO definition of lender's risk tolerance; these are government guaranteed loans. I read thru the entire SBA SOP to understand and educate myself; nothing of which indicated I was outside the tolerance. I have been in the mortgage business for 20-years and this is the most unprofessional lending experience; to not respond to inquiries or provide the actual reason for not moving forward does NOT help small businesses who are trying to gain capital to expand. Also note, they do NOT allow ****** reviews from consumers which indicates they do NOT value or prioritize customer service.Review from Donny H

I don't think this company is legitimately attempting to loan money to small businesses. We spent an enormous amount of time trying to get funding and received an "approval" email, but that was only the beginning of their process to essentially keep asking for more and more until they finally didn't answer any more of our messages, and wasted about six weeks of our time attempting to acquire funding, only to get ghosted at the end.Review from Matthew H

Absolutely terrible customer service. I was under the impression that they were supposed to help their customers. I had to constantly asked for help, information, feedback, and either gravy receive any or was ignored completely. I would never recommend Ready Capital to anyone trying to get funding.
