Ophelia Health is a sham organization and a legal drug cartel. It consists of a group gerontology (yes, old people) NURSES playing doctor. I have more schooling and degrees on addiction than they have combined which is extremely unsettling. They are unnecessarily rude/spiteful and inconsiderate, expect you to show respect but refuse to do simple things like give you their name when speaking to them. They are not here to really help, but to take advantage of an opportunity to get paid off of other peoples pain and struggles during this terrible opioid epidemic. They make you wait weeks for an appointment tell you insurance covers everything and then last minute say you have to pay out of pocket. My nurse at my doctors office cant prescribe opioids so why can they? They are legally destroying and enabling people by keeping them sick, why is this allowed?

I recently contacted ophelia after seeing their adds on ********* I use ****** and read online this may be a way to stop. I signed up and entered my insurance information and other required documents. After signing up I was able to set up an apt to recieve a call. During the call they worked diligently to convince me that paying cash would be better than using my insurance. That was red flag number one. Then after I agreed to pay cash they suddenly had earlier appointments available and messaged me through text message over a dozen times to try to get me in sooner. They then just now messaged me to tell me to confirm my appt again or they would charge me *****. Long story short this is a legal drug dealer. They hook you in with hope get you addicted to suboxone then keep you paying cash. I had no idea how addictive suboxone is untill I just did some research. This should be illegal and investigated. This company is taking advantage of some of the most vulnerable people in the country. I'm just glad I did my due diligence and researched this company after dealing with their abhorrent upselling tactics or I likely would have become a drug addict with a drug far worse than ******.

I have been using Ophelia for at least 4-5 months now. At first it was fine.. fairly easy to schedule and get an appointment and everythinh went smoothly .. these past 2 months have been very troublesome. I have a hard time getting through to them. They say you can text ... however they don't answer for hours sometimes .. even though it's their open business hours.. I missed an appointment yesterday because of the internet connection .. tried to reschedule right away. . And rhey are saying they can't see me for at least another week. It's not acceptable. When someone like myself genuinely needs the medicine. You can't go over a week without it .. you can get sick from withdrawals.. and they know this. There is zero customer service .. barely Any communication .. it's just not right. They shouldn't be allowed to treat people like this.

I started using Ophelia services about 2 months ago. I went to them because I had a drug addiction to opiates. After my initial assessment I was told that my insurance will cover the program in full. As I've gone on and now that I'm fully involved in the program and addicted to the Suboxone that they prescribed they're now telling me that I have to pay $195 a month to continue services and prescriptions to be prescribed. Everyday I get a charge of $195 on my debit card which has resulted in that account having to be closed due to insufficient funds. I am afraid that if I do not pay them this money that they will discontinue any treatment and I will be stuck addicted to the Suboxone with no prescriptions coming. I cannot afford $195 a month. And if that was initially what I had to pay I would have not chose this service. It is my belief that it is unethical way to scam people out of their money using a very addictive supplement 4 heroin or any opiates. I don't know what to do but I cannot go back to the life that I was living and they promised me a better life and a better way.
