On 12/08/24 I signed a contract with a dog breeder, Kristy C****, for a puppy. The agreed upon date, time and location were stated in the contract: 12/20/2024 between 1-2pm at the *** ************* airport. She was supposed to meet me there with the puppy. When I arrived and called her to see where she was, she stated I went to the wrong airport as she was in Syracuse. There are text messages confirming the airport location as well as it is in the contract for the specific airport. She then advised I would need to front the costs for a vehicle transport company or another flight to her. She advised she did not have the money for the transport even though it was her mistake of going to the wrong airport. I stated I did not have the money either and could not keep fronting more money with no dog to show for. She then stated she would refund my deposit of $500 and my flight of $550 totaling $1050. I have received $500. I want the dog and not the money. There were no attempts in good faith from the seller to get me the dog after this incident. She posted the dog for sale on ******** while we were in discussions about getting the dog to me in another way.

I did offer to have her brought to you at *** but you stated your flight was at 3 had I known it was delayed we could've made the trip.  I also stated out of the 1150 owed on her book the flight to ******* airport and I would be there to drop her off to you, and it would only be 300 left ,  I also stated my transporter would take the trip to FL but there was no way without him being paid ahead of time which would've been the remaining balance. I also can't fly and I don't know anyone who can fly , I reached out to everyone I knew. With you taking your time off of work you needed her asap and I can't make that happen so the refund was the only thing I could do fast for you for the deposit but I also told you I can paid the ticket once this puppy sells . If thats before January 3rd or not I don't know , it's when she's can sell .  I did try everything I could.  I understand I made a mistake I did say *** and that I lived right next to the airport also I sent my address which stated syracuse ny not your fault I'm just so used to using *** for my imports. I wish I over read but there was so much going on between litters and stress I didn't even think about it.  I don't know how many times I can apologize for my mistake  I out of good faith refunded a non refundable deposit I am trying to make sure your not without money as well as the puppy that's just not my character. I will have your flight money once I get paid I wasn't expecting this either I reached out to everyone I know to try my hardest to get her to you, unfortunately with christmas approaching no one was available to take the trip or flight and I jusy don't have the extra funds to do this.  Again I am sorry , I did not mean for this to happen it was a mistake, a horrible mistake and I am taking responsibility for it.   you also said I had until January 3rd . And you reported me for a accident? Okay !

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. I was advised by the business owner to fly into *** airport (via text and it is written in the contract). The business owner did not show up to *** airport and advised I flew into the wrong airport. I have requested a refund from the business by 01/03/2025. The business did not try to remedy the issue prior to this complaint: I was told I would have to pay upfront for the transporter to drive the dog to me; I was told I would have to purchase another flight; I was told she could drive the 5.5hrs to meet me at the airport which was impossible as my flight was leaving that evening. The business owner advised she would refund me my flight ($550) after she sold the dog. I should not have to suffer financially for her mishap. As a business owner, she should be responsible to remediate the issue at her expense, not mine.   Regards,  ***** *********

After everything she has done when I was trying to make this right , this is all I'm doing. She will not receive the dog after the lies she has post.  Trying to make it seem like I gave her No options of trying to get the puppy to her, When she had several!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. The business has still not refunded me the remaining $550. The business I believe is confused as to what a non-refundable deposit is- they cannot not show up to a disclosed location in a contract and then refuse to send me the dog. That is stealing.  As stated previously, she DID NOT in fact do anything to get the dog to me except tell me to send her more money. Scam.  I am requesting their business license numbers for all business entities related to this investigation.  If I do not receive the remaining balance by our agreed upon date of Jan 3,2025 I will have no other option but to pursue legal matters.   Regards, ***** *********
