    I have never had to come and file a complaint however my experience with Paychex has been a NIGHTMARE. I had a problem with our account and getting in touch with my account manager was IMPOSSIBLE. I reached out multiple attempts I finally called the customer service line and no one could seem to give me an answer on what was happening with my account although CT department of Labor kept contacting me about a mixup that happened I got everything cleared away with them and needed Paychex to move forward with some changes. Not only was this stressful enough but now I had to reach out to a number of people in customer service lines back and forth since 1/14. (Meanwhile I expressed to many representatives that this was urgent due to my employees unable to collect their unemployment) I finally got a call from Latasha who was the only one who seemed to want to help me. Fast forward I am being told that since 2022 paychex has been returning our taxes at the end of the year back to our account and that this is an automated way they do things NOT EVEN NOTIFYING US THAT THERE IS ANY ISSUE HAPPENING. ISN'T IT WHAT I PAY THE SERVICE FOR TO RAISE ANY FLAGS ESPECIALLY ONE AS BIG AS THIS ONE? now i’m being told I owe a lump-some of $ since 2022 because of the lack of communication on their end? This has been beyond stressful and cost me so much time and energy. I lost all trust in this company.

    This is the MOST unprofessional company, NOT JUST PAYROLL...WORST company I have ever dealt with. We used this company for their services for many years. We left them because the "manager" decided to go over my head and talk directly to our owner with mis-information. Bad idea. He fired them. Once we were terminated, it was impossible to get our employees W2's sent out. I spent many hours on the phone and have documented emails showing their lack of professionalism and assistance.

    Highly unethical company. If you have a small business avoid this company at all costs. Will commit mistakes and not communicate accurate information which will cost your company thousands of dollars and will take zero accountability. Do yourself a favor and look for another company.

    Absolutely garbage business. Pathetic customer service. Still can't access my personal account and it's been 4 months!! I'm thinking about quitting my job because they use Paychex. What ever my company is paying for Paychex, it's too much..

    Every interaction has been contact your employer. No help what so ever. Automated customer service is a time loop. They deleted my payment history and won’t release my records. Horrible experience.

    Paychex was responsible for paying my company's taxes from 2012-2017. The IRS is now requesting payments and forms for multiple consumers. When we request these from Paychex, they are not provided. Do not have them file taxes for you. One time I was told they only keep records for 1 year. The next time 5-7 years. Conveniently for them out of the range we needed. So, we are having to pay these balances due with interest!!! Absolutely the worst customer service around.

    So disappointed in the PayChex company as a whole. As a new business owner, I asked for guidance and assistance with navigating a new field. Of course the sales team were great upon initial interviews and signing processes. The problems arose when I needed assistance with quarterly reports and payments to the IRS. My payroll account specialist yelled stating she was much to busy to be answering questions that should be common sense. I explained that I was not familiar with the process and need questions answered so I can respond back with my CPA. As quarterly payment due dates approached, I still did not have the answers. I requested a new payroll specialist (never took place). I was assured a manager would return my call TWICE and that never happened either. So now I will need to file late reports and and pay penalties for PayChex laxity and their responsibility. They also withdrew the funds from my account in order to make these payments, so essentially I am paying twice. I will NEVER recommend this company and regret even giving them a chance to begin with. Just awful to deal with!

    Terrible customer service. My account manager has changed five times in a year. They do not hurry to help with questions and sometimes never get back to you. When trying to fix a problem they will go in circles and never end up getting to a solution. They just keep passing it on to the next person. Absolutely awful experience.

    Paychex is an absolute NIGHTMARE!! (And how do they have an A+ rating with the BBB??? What a joke!) My experience is the same as everyone else's, there are hidden fees, no one can answer questions, and their employee turnover rate is astronomical, so no one has any real experience or even cares. We left Paychex at the end of 2023, (after giving them 3 months' notice!) and they were still trying to charge my accounts 5 months later. I had to put a stop payment on my bank accounts and threaten legal action, in order for them to finally quit fraudulently charging my accounts. Paychex needs to be investigated by the Attorney General. I truly believe a Class Action lawsuit is warranted here.

    I am seeking the return of my funds. I ordered one (1) Spin brush but was charged for 4. I returned all 4, unopened, and have been given the runaround ever since. This has been going on for a month. Constant excuses and ridiculous emails.
