    My husband and I contracted with Nick B************ DBA Armour Enterprises on 10/21/2021 for snow removal at *** **** ***** ** *********** ** ***** for the ‘21/‘22 season. The contract outlined plowing the full length of the driveway and shoveling of two walkways from the front door to the front gate and to the man door of the garage. After the contract was signed Nick stated he’d come out to the property to stake the areas. This never happened. At the first snowfall, on 1/17/2022, with the required amount for removal, Nick did not show up to our property. However, a guy that we didn’t know in an unmarked truck came on to our property late morning and did a partial plow and did not shovel. Not knowing if this service was an error - ie wrong property - we waited to see if Nick was coming by. Our walkways were covered in 2-4 feet of snow from the front door in both directions. My husband, 62, shoveled all walkways to the pavement. By 1/18/2022 there was more snowfall and no word from Nick. I emailed Nick to let him know the driveway and walkways had not been completed per our agreement. Nick replied that he subcontracted with a guy (he did not provide a name) and was ‘sorry about that…”. I told Nick it had snowed beyond an additional 3”+ overnight and the driveway and walkways needed snow removal. Nick didn’t respond. When I sent pictures of the property Nick argued but never stated he would or wouldn’t finish the job. Instead on a ** post he said that ‘…I offered you a refund…” to which I gladly accepted and said I’d be home until 3 pm. When he didn’t show, I called him, when he answered and I told him my name he hung up on me. I called back 3 times and he didn’t answer. I texted him. My husband texted him and called him from our landline. On 2/17/2022 I emailed Nick to ask for the refund once again since it is now 1 month since his promised refund. Nick never did any snow removal for us. I told him if the refund wasn’t received I’d file with IPD & State offices.
