    I have used EDP for years!! My whole family is on it. Most of my friends are on it. We all go to the same dentist and save a ton of money. The trick is the find the right dentist. *** truly saved me in the high prices of taking good care of my teeth.

    Horrible people! Stalked me online to find out if I had used the plan at my last dental appointment. I hadn't, because I hadn't purchased it yet,but that was an extremely creepy way to try to not refund me. I'll go through my credit union for my refund.Never use this business.

    ******* enrolled in the dental plan on August 6th, 2024. She called to cancel on August ******* . It is our policy that we investigate any plan usage before authorizing a refund within the first 30 days. Cancellation was approved the next day August 30, 2024. Refund is in process. I believe there is some confusion by the member on the timeline of the events that took place. This is hardly a valid complaint since the whole process took 24 hrs and 1 phone call. Customers Beware of false claims and bad reveiws with no real merit. If you are looking for an affordale dental plan to help your family save money on dental care you should absolutely join EDP Dental Plan. We stand behind our plan and our clients.

    We lost our dental insurance when my husband retired. I was skeptical to try this but the hygienist at my dentist recommended it so I enrolled. It is worth every penny and more. This plan has saved me and my family a lot of money. I have renewed it several times.

    Do not buy this , its a scam , really not giving you *************** !!And when i tried to cancel my subscription after purchasing a 3 year plan , they would not refund my money . Terrible !!!

    ************ you have been a member for 14 years. We have saved you a lot of money during that time which is why you renewed with us 5 times. On the contrary we save our members quite a bit of money which is why they renew so many times. When you renewed the last time we gave a special rate if you take a 3 year membership up front we reduced your annual fee. You now want to cancel the 3 year deal and in doing so you lose the reduced 3 year rate. The plan is $149 per year. You paid $269 for 3 years. You are in year 2 and you want to cancel which is fine. However the deal cancels out on both ends as any deal would. So you pay for 2 years individually which adds up to $298 so you see at this point there is no money left for a refund on the 3rd year as the price reverts back to the original cost of what 2 years of membership would be. If you read the cancellation policy we have mailed to you 6 times since you have been a member you would see that there is no scam here. We have been transparent with you and every customer we have enrolled in our plan for over 20 years.

    I made the mistake of signing up for a five-year plan. After a month, I found a much better plan, but they would not let me cancel. My experience with this company has been very bad, and their Dental Network is not good and prices are much higher than CIGNA from both the dentist and EDP.

    Dear **** and *****************************, Thank you so much for reaching out to us and giving us the opportunity to resolve this issue. As you have indicated, our records do show that you enrolled in the plan on August 4, 2017. Though we have recorded the many interactions that you have had with our company, I do not see a cancellation request from ***************** noted for September 8, 2017. But in any event 5 days after that date, the plan was then used by ***************** on September 13, 2017 during which time $307 was saved. The plan was then used again, this time by ****************, on October 10, 2017 where $166 was saved. Our company is very diligent in keeping detailed records and over the years we have assisted you many times. The first mention of a cancellation that we have is on February 16, 2018 where there was simply an inquiry about the refund amount that would be received should the plan be cancelled. However there was no request for cancellation at that time. In fact the plan was then used again on October 24, ************************************************ the year to follow for assistance with various issues like pricing inquiries, locating providers and for ID card requests. It is my understanding that we received your first request to have the plan cancelled in January 2020. It was explained by our representatives at that time and on other occasions thereafter that there is no refund available based on the time that has elapsed. Please note that the discounts provided on your first 2 visits alone, which occurred within the first 3 months of the plans activation, nearly equate to the $549 you paid for 5 years of dental coverage. Despite any differences in opinion that there may be, we did fulfil our obligation to save you money and have verified with your dentist the several times you did use the plan after you claim to have cancelled. The plan is $199 per year and your first request to cancel was 3 years into the plan. For the 5 year discount you must keep the 5 year plan otherwise you pay year to year at $199. At the normal rate of membership 3 years is $597 and you paid $549 for the plan. This is why there is no refund to give if you cancel the remaining 2 years. When you cancel the time the deal cancels with it they go hand in hand as described. It is not right when you give a negative review when in fact you did very well with our company and our product. Based off our history with **************** this negative review is unfounded as we have helped him several times over the years and saved him more money than the plan cost him.
