This company removed my paved driveway and installed a new one and the pitch is so off every time it rains it goes directly into garage I’ve been in touch for him to make it right and after many attempts he put in a drain that did not work and said it’s not his issue , I had the pitch taken and it’s all wrong been dealing with it and have many emails asking him to redo it, now I want my money back so I can redo driveway other black top companies say it’s the only way and can’t believe he won’t redo it, I’ve had water in my house as well and has to pull carpets run fans for days I did not have this problem before he did my driveway ,

Hi ****** **, after your emails and text still knowing you have drainage and pitch issues all the way around your house and you failed to state I came back and installed a drain at no charge to you and you stated that it worked,Grass area behind fence where everything drains won't take water when we've had crazy rain storms this season , again pitch issues at your house are tough seeing your 4ft elevation drop from road, and clearly there's no defect in blacktop seeing you sealcoated it this seasonCustomer response

The issue has been going on for over a year , the drain that was put in by you free of charge after I begged did not work and was taken out and I was told by a company it was the cheapest you could buy , honestly this has been a nite mare water in my garage and into my house has been unreal , I’ve asked several times for you to make it right and you blamed it on another company for paving my road to high , I had no water issues until you paved my driveway the pavement before did not do this, I have spent more money trying different things and nothing works I’ve been told it needs to be redone , I shouldn’t have all these puddles either I put a sun pump in garage a new strip on garage door and new drain with a drywell and have spent hours drying and dealing with thisBusiness response

Yes we did redo driveway that was deteriorated and also widened driveway approx 20ft taking up soil area that didnt retain as much water as a smooth surface , so now the water sheds to low area behind fence that's the lowest area but being there's a hill behind fence amd along sides of driveway it can only take so much water DRIVEWAY ISNT THE ISSUE U NEED DRAINAGE YOUR IN A LOW AREA ,After we installed drain u NEVER paid us for you stated it worked, we've had insane rain this year that's washed out roads that are 100s of years oldCustomer response

Regards, ****** ****** I wish I was told I would need drainage prior to driveway install the water I’ve had in garage has been awful, drainage is not working due to the pitch of new driveway , I wish **** would return my money so I can have it redone , it looks nice but it just can’t be left like this it is ruining my garage and areas of my home .Business response

******, The driveway is pitched and is draining to the lowest point of driveway in front of the white vinyl fence,u can't pitch water to R side of driveway as elevation of lawn is higher,can't pitch water to road as elevation of road is higher, clearly the water is running to lowest point but on heavy rains soil conditions can only take so much, I had excavation company look at this and drainage is only solution to take water seeing house elevation is surrounded by higher ground ,****Customer response

****, the driveway was old but not deteriorated. I wanted it widen and replace and yes it took up the grass area but never once did you say I need a drainage or that I would flood every time it rained hard the drain you never charge me for did not work and was replaced by me and you only put it in after I begged you to do something about my water issue. No drainage is going to work it needs to be replaced and the pitch does lead it all into my garage. I had laser done to check the pitch ,and it has been happening this summer. It started right away when I sent you pictures back when you first did it even when the snow melted it should be made right I need to have it redone again just please give me my money back so I can have it redone, I don’t want to take this further but I may need to the estimates I have has shown me what needs to be done , ******Business response

******, u sent me text messages that the drain was working right??? If drainage wasn't gonna work why did you have another company install a drain also? Did they do correct installation?? You need drainage install through back yard to take these heavy rains we've had ,Again I have the text messages stating great news drain worked ,****Customer response

Regards, ****** ****** ****, I thought the drain worked at first but it clearly did not because the next time it rained I flooded and the time after that I flooded so I tried a professional drain system that did not work again you never told me I needed any drainage he just put the driveway in and now I am stuck with a mess every time it rains The estimate I got shows what needs to be done The driveway needs to come out and be done correctly. The estimate was someone you used to work for and they said you know better.
